Re: Review: Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition - Three Classics In One Shocking Package

@Warioware Ahh word word, definitely gotta look into that then thanks ^^. I loved the 3D Ninja Gaiden on Xbox back in the day. That's the thing about patches, it's so useful for devs to fix games. I may go digital if ever I do pick up the Gaiden Trilogy cause the physical isn't complete and plus needs patches anywho. EDIT: Looks like the import version is complete o.o

Re: Talking Point: Switch Is A Juggernaut, But Nintendo Will Still Feel Investor Pressure

I feel like Nintendo's unique angle is their legacy content, which they've so far kind of snubbed. I think the biggest plague to the Switch is it's online infrastructure and lack of a real online player ecosystem. It's a struggle sometimes to find people to play with or to befriend on the Switch which in turn separates the player base and prevents the ecosystem to truly grow.

Re: Poll: N64 And Sega Genesis Nintendo Switch Online Games Launch Today - Which Will You Play First?

tekoii

Aye. I'm conflicted, I want to stream some of the games especially cause I haven't played some of em. It would also be nice to revisit some N64 games also. This is prolly the most practical way to play them for me outside of emulators. Essentially, +$30 yearly for a bunch of games while old, I haven't played a lot of em. I gotta renew online soon, so this choice is tearing at me.

Re: Oh No, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Has Been Delayed On Switch

As @fafonio says above me. I think it's better to avoid this holiday season anyway, what with SMT5, Metroid Dread, Mario Party, Pokemon Remakes, and Arceus early 2022. Releasing in Spring along with or before Kirby seems a better time.

Side Note: I wish the graphics weren't so toy-like. There is something off about the infantry units that make them look super cheap to me. While these updated graphics are definitely crisp, but I almost prefer the original pixel art simply because it fit better with the world they made despite the simple graphics.

Re: Sad Times, The Amazing Flip Grip Accessory Doesn't Work On Switch OLED

tekoii

I love the concept of the Flip Grip.

It would have been cool had Nintendo thought of and utilized this idea. All the vertical games would play awesome with this set up.

Just imagine for a second, NDS or 3DS ports or Emulators running with the Flip Grip set-up.

That would just add to the idea that the Switch is in a sense the culmination to all of what Nintendo released before it.

Re: Round Up: Here's What The Critics Think Of Nintendo Switch OLED

If there were deep trade-in value for my OG switch then I may consider but I haven't heard of that sort of thing going on like with the red box Switch. I'll just wait as prices drop over the years, plus my current Switch is still functional so let's go! The enhancements while nice just aren't enough to make me shell out so much cash.

@Markiemania95 Ugh.. I so hear you on this. I use that extra USB for my PDP light up dock and now it'd be gone with the new dock. Now we gotta get LAN-USB or something? ><;
