@BossBattles seriously Nintendo needs to do everything they can to get a Wii u release of Dark Souls 2 and other major 3rd party games like this. They really dropped the ball with Gta and Bioshock infinite.

@rjejr Nintendo is smart in not going against the advertising storm. They'll wait until it's over promote some software to forbes and mostly people that don't watch a lot of TV.

The only Nintendo commercials I saw were on this site

@unrandomsam true not to mention a free month could have them never buy it but perhaps Jintendo doesn't care they just want to sell systems. I think they could get some system sales like before out of this but I don't think it will be as big as the Wii.

They did sell 23 million Wii fits maybe they can do it again.

The Wii u was a rough concept. After playing it for a while I like it but I prefer the pro controller or wiimote. There were major American advertising issues last year. If that happens this year Iwata would need to go. Notice that there is no advertising for assassins creed 4 and Arkhangelsk origins? Retailers have kept Wii u titles in the back along with Wii party u. Whatever is going on Nintendo has upset major retailers.

I've been playing this for 3 days on the Wii u. It looks like the best version to me. Ubisoft does some fun game pad work also. I thought this was a better game than 3, it's much more assessable. 3 was all about the story, this game is more about searching and upgrading your ship and becoming a great pirate. It's a great game

Make it look like Dark Souls and you got the correct tone for the greatest Zelda ever

Pretty good I love this game. It's really high quality and pretty fun but I had to get the people at target to pull one from the back so barely any advertising

It just shows the quality of Nintendos developers using a lot of technique and skill in reducing size and rendering speeds much like Halo 4 last year. This really shows a great future for the Wii U and means some of the upcoming games are going to be visually and technically impressive on the Wii U.

I would love to buy a luigis mansion 3ds xl. I'm surprised Nintendo isn't aggressively pushing it this October

The game looks great but the commercial could use a lot of work.

Nintendo is a household name. You don't want to give your kids consoles like the ps3 or the xbox. Steam is only a threat and a huge threat it is to Microsoft and Sony. If Mario was on PC then Nintendo would have a problem but don't expect them to have any worries. The 3ds is exploding even with smartphone and iPads being the greatest thing.

I have an xbox 360 but I've never been a Gta fan. I did like the first half of red dead, but ultimately am more into fantasy games than Rockstar games

Americans hate to get told what to do. Nintendo really blew it with "This is how u will play next". It's very ubrupt and has negative tones just so they could force in a U in the slogan. Nintendo has an opportunity to fix this, but sometimes they come off really out of touch.

Just make sure your commercials don't look like Microsoft commercials and you'll be fine

The demo for 101 was pretty terrible. They pulled a Capcom by turning off gamers to a great game with an awful demo

Nintendo doesn't need or care about 3rd party development. I'm sick of all the whiny companies that Nintendo could care less about. There's 2 sides to this coin. Nintendo also sees that nobody wants a rehash of Mass Effect 3 but they allowed EA to crap it out on launch.

They'll sell 100 million if they made a 3ds version.

I ended up voting for Monster Hunter it was just too great a game. GOTY I chose guild wars 2 because of the massive amount of work and the final results were pretty good. I hope they get the win

I think the demo and the Nintendo cast thing were more harm than good for the 101. The demo is really bad.

The xbox is what developers work on then they release it on the ps3 which is harder to work with with a single core, then in this case moved it onto the Wii u which is very different hardware. Don't buy 3rd party on Nintendo consoles unless it's exclusive

@zionich agreed both my brother got it on the 3ds and Wii u. We started playing this again the other day and forgot how great it is.

Nspace makes Skylanders for the 3ds another company built the Wii u version. Why would n space work on a Wii u game when they never have been hired by Activision to do that?

@Marshi i don't think Nintendo has the resources right now to deal with punks. You'll have to enjoy the Wii u without Miiverse. Better learn your lesson now than with cops when you're older.

Best game I've played in a long time better than the last of us and Bioshock infinite to me. I've never played the previous Pikmin titles so I was blown away nor have I played a console rts that works as well as this game. I don't see this being a system seller but I do see it being picked up with other titles this holiday. It's a great step for Nintendo.

I still need to finish Pikmin 3 which is amazing but cloudberry kingdom is much easier to play when watching baseball

Nintendo needs to sell plush Pikmin dolls. They have a ton of toys for their other games. I don't know why they miss these opportunities

Just a guy who bought a patent. Don't give him anything Nintendo. Like the case earlier this year Nintendo just needs to prove this guy has no ability to mass market nor did he have the budget to make a handheld device popular.
