While disappointing, it’s alright. I just took count of my Switch collection today and it’s nearing 100 for physical games alone. I probably need to take a break for awhile.

As for Link's Awakening, it was enjoyable but not as much as others. A Link Between Worlds still claims top spot for the "2D" Zeldas in more recent years but when talking about all 2D Zeldas nothing will ever top A Link to the Past.

I have Toadette, Peach, Metal Mario, and Pauline so far. In the karts category I’m hurting though.

@BulbasaurusRex I could but I'm not. $10 bucks isn't a whole lot so I'm not really going to make a fuss over a couple bucks that I think should have been deducted for not including any online components. The sheer fact that I can play this while sitting on a 3 hour flight more than makes up for that.

The game is only $9.99 and I have fond memories of it so it is a steal at that price. They could have easily charged $14.99 for it...

I honestly couldn’t throw down the money for a Switch Lite till I knew they have fixed the joy-con drift issue. That is assuming they used the same tech for the controls on the Switch Lite.

Anyone would be brave to release their game the same day/week as a Zelda title.

Once your game is complete, you can self-publish it on the Nintendo eShop with the price and release date entirely up to you.

Sounds like a crap place to work. I'm a programmer considering dipping my feet into the gaming industry so if I were to create my own game I would more than likely just release it digitally to the eShop. If it becomes successful then I would just wait for the inevitable "Limited Run" offer and let them publish the physical....

@Damo I love how when there is someone that disagrees in the comments there is always that one person that says “did you even read the review” 😂. Yes of course I read it. AND I read everyone else’s and they seem fair. Deducting 5 points for two “great” games because the port isn’t as great as you were hoping it would be is pretty off key if you ask me...

Looking forward to the Terminator’s inclusion in this moreso than Dark Fate....that movie looks horrible from every angle...

Relax, j/k but I’m still picking this up because this is lowest score I’ve seen for it with sites like Nintendo Enthusiast and Nintendo World Report both giving it 80 and several other sites giving it pretty decent reviews as well. I played these when they were first released and enjoyed the hell out of them. It’s like the old saying goes “different strokes for different folks”. Don’t let one poor review make your purchasing decision for you. Do some research. The only one that makes decisions about where my money goes is me.......okay maybe my wife too.

I’ve always felt that the guest characters were more of a detraction from the series than anything else. They just never quite fit in.

I’ve been hitting that MK 11....as well as my MK Arcade1Up machine. Just got the light up marquee installed and it I absolutely love it.

They obviously have no plan whatsoever with their games. If there was a detailed plan then surely upper management would be playing “he said, she said”. That is one company I would absolutely love to see take a nosedive.

Living in the States (which means we are unfortunate enough to not be getting a steelbook edition...unless I have been sleeping under a rock which is possible) I went for the Dreamer Edition. I don't personally see a problem with the price especially when we have spent the same for less....

Would have been better had it released a few days prior to Halloween rather than on the day itself... A little disappointed but the game is going to be great regardless..

Portability is a plus but I’d rather just buy an Arcade1Up cab and mod it with a Pi....which I already am.

I’ve been enjoying the game especially moreso because it doesn’t have the other characters from other franchises in it. I have always wanted a strictly Sonic racer. Sure there’s the usual Sega programming bugs (some more annoying than others) but it is still a fun game especially for the price.

@graysoncharles it was just an example so no need to get your underwear twisted. I’m just saying exclusives are good. They are what draws people to a particular console. Everyone has an opinion though. No need to get into a tiff over something as silly as video games.

The comments crack me up. I personally don’t even care but for all those that are like “I’m glad more people get to enjoy it” or the like would definitely be singing a different tune if we were talking about Zelda or Mario or even Pokémon. Exclusives are what makes one console worth buying over another console. Well the Switch has that portability thing going for it as well but still....

@sixrings games are going to age regardless. Technology changes and there will even come a time when your precious 1080p will look dated somehow.
