A year ago, we found out Mattel was teaming up with Nintendo to release a special Mario Kart Hot Wheels line. This series will include Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser, Wario and Rosalina and arrives in stores next month.
If none of these characters interest you, perhaps this special Metal Mario Hot Wheels kart will. It's inspired by Mario Kart 8 and includes a matching vehicle and paraglider. You can even leave it in its packaging for display purposes.
Compared to the standard characters available for $4.99, this one costs $20. Unfortunately, it might be a little more exclusive as well. It will be sold on Mattel's website on 17th June in the San Diego Comic-Con pre-sale and will also be available to purchase at the convention on 17th July.

This is pretty neat. My father collected a lot of Hot Wheels over the years. He eventually gave up because it was too too hard to display them and sold all but his favorites.
I would like a bunch of these. Rosalina specifically. Just saying.

@Prizm I understand what you mean, I did not see it at first, but the plastic exhaust pipes don't really fit in.
That said, I wouldn't buy this because of the price alone, but for $5, I will be finding Toad and Yoshi.
I really want this!!! And as a non collector of Hot Wheels this will be the first Hot Wheels i've bought since a kid.(30+ years)
And to all the people who say i would never buy this. I guarantee these will be sell on Ebay for $49.99+Shipping or more right after Comic-Con. Their a lot of Hot Wheels and Nintendo Collectors out their.
