I still have Mario galaxy and Mario galaxy 2 on my Wii u digital pile of shame.

If I could buy one digital copy of the next Mario kart and I could play it on four screens with my two daughters and wife, I would get four switches. As others have said above family sharing of digital titles is key as is multiplayer with just one copy of a game. (Which I am not sure is possible with Mario kart 8)

It is a shame that more of the good indie games for Wii u are no longer being discounted. There are a few I still want to pick up but it feels like the publishers have all move on.

I think it is quite clear that the online infrastructure isn't ready yet and won't be ready for launch
I don't expect virtual console to launch until the paid online.

Is Nintendo expected to put anything else on Wii U VC now?

No virtual console is a concern, I am still hopeful that we will still get some good ones

Which Lego game would everyone recommend from the discounts? ( Already have undercover)

Also do these Lego games support off TV?

Not expecting much as surely they would specify what time they would be releasing the news if something big.

@Peach64 thanks I have just ordered Starfox guard from simply games.com £3.99 is a brilliant deal for it. I am digital only so this is great.

Last year wasn't a great black Friday sale in Europe but Christmas was pretty good. Hopefully the same this year.

Shame there is no third party stuff like the USA have with Sega and Lego. Will pick up Yoshi and possibly Tokyo or starfox

It is a good game, it will have better load times in switch and will be portable but will lose second screen so could be debated forever which is better. I will stick with Wii u version.

@Sean_Aaron yes the Wii library on Wii u is really impressive now, just a shame prices are a bit high on some of them.

@Angelic_Lapras_King I think they will start over and i don't think there will be DS or 3DS, Wii or Wii u VC so a real step backwards.

Also I think we won't see VC until late 2017 as they will want people buying third party games.

The Wii u is such a fantastic machine

Poor week, just dance is a good title for families and will pick it up if it goes cheap but no rush.

My main hope for Wii u now is big discounts and Wii games on eshop

Disappointed that the other Sega 3d classics weren't on sale from Thursday

I like the look of this.pictoparty and spin the bottle are other good eshop party gems

Worked out I will get about 10 games from this list for just over £30, a nice father's day treat from my kids

This sale is clearly based on the best selling eshop only games* (including vc) which is why retail releases are excluded. However because it is based on the best selling games, most of us lot have most of the ones we want.

It is a shame galaxy 1 wasn't discounted as galaxy 2 has outsold it due to the length of time it has been available and the launch discount.

*Shovel Knight being a notable exception.

I think the nis games might be removed shortly hence the very low prices now.

I hope they do a sale of the other 3d classics I want to pick them all up and a sale will irresistible

@SepticLemon I think Nintendo are ballsy enohugh to go into the phone market which is basically dominated by Samsung and Apple in the same way that Sony and Microsoft are currently controlling the console market. The mobile market is bigger than the console market and Nintendo love the blue ocean.

wild theory time here... what if this is actually a nintendo phone/handheld hybrid. if you look at the size, it is tiny next to the wii u, but turn it vertically and it looks like it could be a phone.

Currently playing through pokemon blue but fancy a bit of Phoenix wright. Might get the triology and dual destinies.

I like the look of pokken but can't see myself paying more than £30 for it,. As I am digital only, I think I am in for a very long wait!

Can anyone tell me whether you need the touchscreen on Phoenix wright games? I fancy them but my 3ds touchscreen is very erratic.

Also Nintendo appear to have forgot about Wii u virtual console now that they have snes on new 3ds.

And yes £50 for pokken is crazy hopefully cdkeys and game will do it cheaper.
