Re: Zero Gunner 2 Stealthily Launches On Japanese Switch eShop

Have the Arcade version of this and it's a blast, relatively easy 1cc also if you learn the pattern's, might double dip for some portability since a Sega Naomi can't be carried around easily ... playasia usually sends the code immediately after purchase.

Re: Reaction: Our Early Thoughts on the Nintendo Switch

I dont get the hype tbh, its a mid spec tablet with a detacable bluetooth controller, hdmi out and a nintendo os. Not very innovative by any stretch of the imagination, least not based on what we've currently seen. Hopefully more info will be released soon.

And the following day as a bonus they send out 500 dcma notices to all the die hard fans making great content they wont. Kimishima putting the boot in. So sad to see a company that once thought so much about there fans not give a damn about them now. Worse than sony or microsoft any day.

@6ch6ris6 anything that's as successful, highly regarded and critically acclaimed as MGSV is always going to have a small vocal minority who push the other way just because.... Sure the game has problems but was still incredible despite them which says a lot in itself.. I've over 120 hours put in now and still playing it trying to s rank all missions. Not sure why the article is here though, not like we'll ever see another main series title on Nintendo hardware

Re: Talking Point: E3 Highlighted Nintendo's Development Shift Towards NX, and Away from Wii U

I certainly wont be buying another nintendo console at launch as I suspect others will be wary too giving all the broken promises and the last couple of gens. I wonder would nintendo ever consider making a regular power console again with a decent architecture to promote 3rd parties back. Gamepad was seriously underused and the waggle controls of the wii never appealed to me beyond the novelty.

Re: Editorial: Nintendo's Approach to amiibo is Increasingly Frustrating

@shani tinfoil hat man for sure and the nes zapper wasent and still isint rare at all, the others are only rare because less were produced as no one was buying because they were rubbish, completely different story with amiibo where they cant meet demand and to suggest nintendo's shareholders wouldent want the revenue microsoft has is ridiculous tbh.

Re: Video: The Nintendo Life Reaction to Nintendo's E3 Digital Event

As someone whos been with nintendo since the snes era I can honestly say I wont be blindly buying the next nintendo home console at launch and have genuinely lost faith in nintendo. I never thought I'd say that, there's been way to much bulls**t promises and outright lies at the end of the wii's cycle and into this one for me to blindly trust nintendo again going forward.

Re: Talking Point: Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Entitled Fury

@MegaBeedrill

There's far more issues than just the graphics though, its not a metroid game. Metroid for me personally is about playing as samus, scanning, exploration, isolation. This game has none of that, its not metroid, if anyone believes a metroid game is about 'blast ball' iam sure they'll enjoy it.

Re: Talking Point: Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Entitled Fury

It's never been more obvious than now that nintendo has zero respect for its fans and the bottom line is trying to make shareholders happy. I believe sony/microsoft have shown a far better balance between the two this year, between the ffvii remake, rare compilation, backwards compatibility etc, it shows thats fans are being listened to and there trying to meet their expectations. Nintendo just s**t on their loyalist supporters at every opportunity this gen giving games nobody wanted but somebody somewhere thought would sell to the casuals and the kids. Everything shown screamed cash and I wont be buying nintendos next console until the games I want are out on it near the end of its lifecycle.

I remember reggie apologising at the end of the wii's lifecycle that there werent enough titles for core and improving on it next time around and there's actually been nothing this gen, spare a few titles. It's obvious now the nx is the big focus for nintendo and that they've all but given up on the u and I for one wont be buying there bulls**t next time around. I dont actually care what they announce or the lies they speak, I'll hold onto the wii u for the last few titles because its worth nothing now and luckily I have an xbone but I wont buying there next home console based on false promises alone which tbh is what they've been peddling for years.

“What I’ll tell you is that with the Wii we did not have the benefit of multiplatform games from key publishers. I didn’t have The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I didn’t have the best of the Call of Duty games. That’s what I missed. With the Wii U’s graphics capability, processing power, and HD-output, we’ll get those games. That’s a huge competitive advantage versus where we were with the Wii.” Yeah right Reggie, why worry about core games when muck like wii fit sells so well.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Prices Pop Up in Italy, and They're Not Bad

@zip XL all the way for me, couldent go back to the smaller screen even if its a tiny bit bigger. Regarding pixels, dosent bother me in the slightest as someone who plays alot of retro games and loves virtual console games I dont even consider if the pixels are viewable or not. If the game is good its good, plus a game can still look great pixels and all, providing the art style is well done. Shovel Knight, 1001 spikes & cave story are recent examples.

Re: Nintendo Wins Four At The Game Awards 2014, While Shovel Knight Scoops Best Indie Prize

mozie

@RR529 As I said I only seen a small portion of the event perhaps it was just a playstation segment or something but there were way to many ads, like every five minutes. I know they have to fund the event somehow but at times it was almost impossible to distinguish between 'world premiere' and the ads that followed. Most were for games that were already receiving significant airtime during the event anyways. It was all shadow of mordor or far cry 4.

Re: Video: Five Vital Tips for Conquering Shovel Knight

@chiptoon I bought it on american 3ds on release and recently picked up the pal wii u version and I have to say Wii U is the way to go if deciding between the two, you can really appreciate the art design on the bigger screen and with a proper stick it controls better too. Only disadvantage is obviously the 3d & portability but I turn off the 3d most of the time after a while.
