Re: Nintendo Is Adding Paper Mario 64 To Switch Online's Expansion Pack, Out Next Week

john_lennon999

@Trikeboy no it isn't write. I have the Wii U and most of its N64 VC games, about 6-7 years. NSO online for N64 (I don't care about Genesis at all) for 7 years is 280€ that is much more than -let's say 14 N64 VC games- that is 140 and you own them forever. If you are a kind of person that finishes a game and never plays it again maybe it's ok, but in the long run it's too expensive compared to VC.

Re: Wii U's Getting A New Game, And This Will Probably Be The Last

john_lennon999

My only problem with Wii U is that I have 298 titles and I can only buy 2 more games and have them installed, maybe I'll save some shoveware to a flash drive to empty space, and I hope it doesn't lose folders every time I change from HDD to USB drive (because when you have 2 HDD to make a backup afterwards all games.go to the main screen outside folders, and it is a pain to rearrange them)

Re: Nintendo Announces Enormous Cyber Switch Sale That Will Discount More Than 1,000 Games

john_lennon999

@jsty3105 yeah, I don't blame Nintendo for this, but it is a common thing on eshop, even on only digital titles that there is no reason to much a bigger physical price due to cartidge costs. Even Ubisoft that has 60% off on many titles (eg Trivial Pursuit) has a bigger normal price so they are more expensive. RE games had a 50% off when they were 30€ that became 25% now so the price on sale remains the same. It is not fair for Switch users, I have most of the games on XBox One but I would buy them again most of them on Switch but I do not support this, If you want to support Switch you 'll have to pay more for the same game.
On 3DS most of them had very good sales though.

Re: Poll: Are You Enjoying Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 2.0?

john_lennon999

It's ok, I was expecting it to be much better though , with a home and store expansion (rooms have no expansion to be bigger) and the store is meh... as the first expansion in older AC that you had only for a while. Also, the shops in Harv's island? And have to travel every time? Like Wii's game? Gets boring for me to travel every day just to check. Also still nothing to do and play in multiplayer, I was waiting for an island with games like New Leaf. They destroyed multiplayer, you can only show your island and nothing else. The update is what it should have been day 1 and all these missing to be in the updates. Still better nothing but a missing opportunity for the whole game.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Version 2.0 Will Be The Game's Final Major Free Update

john_lennon999

The free update has great cool stuff but the one thing I wanted more was store expansions so it would become a small mall in the end with 3-4 levels. And more rooms in your house, another floor and expand the smaller existing rooms. And I would love the New Leaf island mini games for multiplayer because now there is nothing to do than to take a walk around the island for 5 minutes.

Re: Here's What The Micro SD Card Slot Looks Like On The Nintendo Switch OLED

john_lennon999

I wish they made an update with an "unmount sd card" option like phones without powering off the console, I have 6 microSD full of games and most of the time I play what is on the inserted card because I am bored to take it off the dock, power it off change card, power on again and so on... also I wish microSD was next to the cartidge slot so you can change it without take it off the dock.
(1TB cards still too expensive...)

Re: New Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Footage Shown, Aiming For A 2022 Switch Release

john_lennon999

@BanjoPickles to tell you the truth of all these titles I would only play Warioware and not for a long time. There are many titles that only got a port, it could be a new Mario Kart, Pikmin, Captain Toad, Mario and Luigi, a Zelda collection for the 35th, even the forgotten Gamecube Chibi Robo. I don't say there are not enough new titles, but there are not enough new titles that I want to play. I am a little obsessed with 2-3 N franchises and nothing else that much. I have a huge backlog, but I prefer to play again my favourite games instead. And I would love more than anything a Lego City Undercover sequel, not a Nintendo title but loved this on Wii U. At least it was a good presentation for most people and a good one for Nintendo.

Re: New Breath Of The Wild 2 Footage Shown, Aiming For A 2022 Release

john_lennon999

Maybe I'm one of the few that are disappointed. First I don't like the idea of islands because I really hated Skyward Sword, I hope it doesn't feel like it. 2nd it seems that we'll wait 1,5 year for it, 3rd no other games for the 35th anniversary? Not even a collection? I had high Hope's for Ocarina / Majora's HD versions of the 3DS games. I will keep the Mario Party and Life Is Strange. Nothing else for me. Not even N64 Zelda games for NSO.

Re: Talking Point: One Year On, What's Still Missing From Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

john_lennon999

All of these, more fruits and most important for me at least 3 upgrades to the tiny store, with Gracie's exclusive premium floor as in New Leaf, so much money in New Horizons and nothing to buy! The opposite of New Leaf. My biggest disappointment in the game. I kept spending on useless items waiting for an expansion until I looked it on a walkthrough only to see there are no expansions! And all or multiplayer games from NL back! Sometimes it feels like a demo version of AC.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The February 2021 Nintendo Direct, Then?

john_lennon999

Completely disappointed, I was waiting a Zelda 35th Collection with either OoT and MM remakes or WW, TP AND SS on one collection for 60€, not just an ugly "remaster" of SS (to me looks awful). And sth about MK9 or some DLC for MK8DX and not Splatoon 3 (and I never really liked Splatoon as game at all), Switch has already a new Splatoon and still no new MK. At least I wasn't expecting any BOTW2 news, it would have been a complete disaster for me.

Re: Feature: Every 2D Super Mario Game Ranked

john_lennon999

Guess I'm the only one that doesn't like Super Mario World at all. I always find difficult and confusing the flying thing, and I also don't like the style of the graphics, I prefer the All-Stars graphic style more. My favourite I think is Land and NSMB for DS.

Re: Switch eShop Game Prices Can No Longer Be Below $1.99, Says Death Squared Dev

john_lennon999

Is this limit for EUR shop too or not? Because there were some games at 0.99€ yesterday, and Europe always had the 0.99 limit (there were some exceptions if you already owned a game from the same developer you got e.g. 90% of the already discount price and sometimes the final price was some cents. So... should I buy Retro Games at 0.99 for half an hour of nostalgia or I will get it later at 1.99?

Re: Netflix Is Winding Down Its Services On Wii U And 3DS

john_lennon999

@sandman89 no, it doesn't work well to anyone I know, If I have watched many episodes or a very long movie it seems like it's frozen like you say, but it works after some minutes, if you watched only a few minutes the delay is some seconds. I think it depends on how long ago you pressed a button! I read that before the latest update that wasn't a problem. Annoying surely.

Re: Netflix Is Winding Down Its Services On Wii U And 3DS

john_lennon999

I still use it daily as my TV is not smart, and I have my Wii U with me when I go to my parents' home and I don't have a TV in my room. Release a Switch app and then abandon the Wii U. Gamepad is also good when you want to watch in bed and your eyes are tired to watch it on TV. Pity.

Re: Animal Crossing Director Views New Horizons As The Start Of The Series' "Third Generation"

john_lennon999

To me is the most boring AC to date, in ACNL I used to play multiplayer games.on the island for hours, now you dont have anything to do in multiplayer. Also the dialogues with the animals are limited and repeated, the shop sells the same furniture again and again, and most of New Leaf stores are missing. It's only about decorating your island, and I'm no interested in this.
