@LuigiBlood Exactly. And the Nintendo response is something like well that's how we want the games to be played. Completely ignoring the fact that it's an accessibility issue. I finally got hold of a 64 controller, turns out my youngest with a disability can't reach the Z button and control stick at the same time. No way to remap. And then not being able to remap a pro controller so goldeneye is basically unplayable, that's just insulting. My kids shouldn't have go to system settings and swap control sticks to make a 25 year old game playable.
I'd love to assume it will be backward compatible, but the switch online subscription drip feed makes me pretty cynical. The Wii Shop, launched 17 years ago, puts NSO to shame. Nintendo still makes unique games but they are definitely following some anti consumer industry trends. If there is BC, I wouldn't be surprised if it requires an add-on or subscription fee.
@sinndec the "no ethical consumption" bit is not a free pass from making informed decisions, or a reason to put down someone else's moral stance. Not sure what you mean about the devil thing. We're talking about this specific example, not claiming any other corporation is highly ethical. If someone wants to make a "lesser evil" judgement call, why would anyone discourage that?
Waiting for master mode to start on Tears, since I'm sure you'll have to start a new file like in BotW. Not a kid any more, I've got one playthrough in me for such a huge game. Probably at least 4 years from a new zelda anyway so no rush.
@Bass_X0 you're presenting your egoist philosophy as fact, and exposing an incredibly naïve understanding of world politics and economics. If that works for you, fine. I'll still check out the game.
@Bass_X0 pretty obnoxious to tell people what they should or shouldn't care about. Some people have moral lines. Maybe owners (whose human rights atrocities sure are meaningful and tangible to those affected) aren't something you personally take into consideration. Cool.

Always wanted to try the board game but not for $100. Might give this a go.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Advance Library
I think we've reached kirby saturation point for switch online
Re: Capcom Provides A Vague But Mildly Promising Update On Mega Man's Future
Well to make a new game, we'd have to make a new game. Great answer.
Re: Take-Two CEO On Backward Compatibility: "Give Consumers What They Want"
@Serpenterror if 3rd parties don't get a cut that's ridiculous. Publishers and gamers unite to demand better from Nintendo!
Re: Take-Two CEO On Backward Compatibility: "Give Consumers What They Want"
@Serpenterror yes I mean to compare to Virtual Console and NSO. Personally the online friend co-op stuff does not make up for the lack of games.
