Re: Next Bungie Title May Head to Nintendo Consoles

People who own a Wii aren't complaining about no third-party support. We're complaining about no GOOD third-party support. Nothing Activision or Bungie has produced has interested me. I'm not going to be excited just because two big names are putting their game[s] on the Wii. Until I see the product, I remain apathetic.

Yes, I would prefer that. Definitely. I don't want to buy another game, just so I have the same game with different songs. That also makes it annoying when you want to play a certain song; you have to keep switching game discs. If you're not going to make any significant changes, what's the point in releasing a new game? And I'm not talking pointless changes like making the menus more accessible, or adding some "crowd-pleaser" gimmick or something.

@zkaplan I'm not saying they should just stop making music games entirely, but I'm tired of seeing so many versions of the same game. Activision is infamous for sucking as much money out of people as they can for this reason. They come up with one game, and make a million sequels.

Ugh. Just stop with these type of music games. We already have 538,000 guitar simulation games, rock band and its clones, and singing games. In this age, just come out with one and release DLC updates. They're cluttering the shelves at game stores.

@miketh2005
No one I know has a wavebird, and they're hard to find if you go to GameStop or any place like that, at least where I live. Of course eBay has it; you can find anything on eBay, but it's much more expensive than the regular GCN controller, and not just because it's wireless.

Re: Review: Final Fantasy II (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)

I agree with the score. I never played this when it came out, but I emulated it a few years ago, and it was pretty good, but the story was horrible. I was pissed off when everyone kept dying and then they all of the sudden just came back in the end. The one thing I can say I enjoyed was the soundtrack; especially the piano collections. Everyone needs to get that album

I'm certainly happy with the new Samus. I always hated the way they made her look in Zero mission and beyond aka Zero Suit Samus. She didn't look like a ditzy, busty adult magazine model in the original Metroid Prime game, and I'm glad they changed her image to something more suitable to her character again.

Re: XBLA Perfect Dark Getting GoldenEye Maps and Weapons

grenworthshero

Well, it's been said before, but these maps were already in Perfect Dark...how is that any different? Also, so were the "classic" weapons. They were also renamed in the original version of Perfect Dark. For instance, the Klobb was renamed the K1088. It sounds to me like this is just Perfect Dark -- nothing new here. Am I missing something? Oh, and there were proximity mines in Perfect Dark. They served the same purpose as those in Goldeneye...what's the difference there? This just sounds like someone is ignorant of what was in the original game in the first place.

Sean Aaron, as if it wasn't obvious before, you're clearly not from the US, because to us, pronouncing "Der-ner-ner-nerrrrr!" Just sounds like you're silly
