I always thought the Bit.Trip series had pretty good music, but it's not great to listen to out of context. I might be in the minority on this, but it's meant to be a "music/rhythm game". Taking it out of the game kind of negates its purpose.
People who own a Wii aren't complaining about no third-party support. We're complaining about no GOOD third-party support. Nothing Activision or Bungie has produced has interested me. I'm not going to be excited just because two big names are putting their game[s] on the Wii. Until I see the product, I remain apathetic.
Meh. I don't really care. Bungie's Halo is a decent FPS, but nothing too exciting. Activision just seems to make games for the sole reason of getting as much money out of people as possible, and I've never much liked anything they've made.
Yes, I would prefer that. Definitely. I don't want to buy another game, just so I have the same game with different songs. That also makes it annoying when you want to play a certain song; you have to keep switching game discs. If you're not going to make any significant changes, what's the point in releasing a new game? And I'm not talking pointless changes like making the menus more accessible, or adding some "crowd-pleaser" gimmick or something.
@zkaplan I'm not saying they should just stop making music games entirely, but I'm tired of seeing so many versions of the same game. Activision is infamous for sucking as much money out of people as they can for this reason. They come up with one game, and make a million sequels.
Ugh. Just stop with these type of music games. We already have 538,000 guitar simulation games, rock band and its clones, and singing games. In this age, just come out with one and release DLC updates. They're cluttering the shelves at game stores.
I think the "small" numbers are also due to the fact that Nintendo keeps putting out different versions of the DS, and people aren't ready to pick up another 3DSliteXLultra9000XTREME just yet.
actually, now that I think of it, that's a really good price for an extra setup, if you need a replacement, but as just a faster way to transport your Wii from room to room? Screw that.
@miketh2005 No one I know has a wavebird, and they're hard to find if you go to GameStop or any place like that, at least where I live. Of course eBay has it; you can find anything on eBay, but it's much more expensive than the regular GCN controller, and not just because it's wireless.
Aw, that means my Wavebird is going to go down in value if Nintendo starts making them again. Not that I was ever going to sell it anyway, but it's nice to know I have something psuedo-rare
That's DEFINITELY not a rugby ball. Rugby and football are completely different, and I'm with bro2dragons, this does look kind of cool. But I'm not going to waste my money on it.
I agree with the score. I never played this when it came out, but I emulated it a few years ago, and it was pretty good, but the story was horrible. I was pissed off when everyone kept dying and then they all of the sudden just came back in the end. The one thing I can say I enjoyed was the soundtrack; especially the piano collections. Everyone needs to get that album
sounds like fun. I loved Lemmings and FFCCMLAADL, and I never played Populous, but I know it had a good soundtrack. I'm awaiting this one with much vigor.
I'm certainly happy with the new Samus. I always hated the way they made her look in Zero mission and beyond aka Zero Suit Samus. She didn't look like a ditzy, busty adult magazine model in the original Metroid Prime game, and I'm glad they changed her image to something more suitable to her character again.
Well, it's been said before, but these maps were already in Perfect Dark...how is that any different? Also, so were the "classic" weapons. They were also renamed in the original version of Perfect Dark. For instance, the Klobb was renamed the K1088. It sounds to me like this is just Perfect Dark -- nothing new here. Am I missing something? Oh, and there were proximity mines in Perfect Dark. They served the same purpose as those in Goldeneye...what's the difference there? This just sounds like someone is ignorant of what was in the original game in the first place.
Sean Aaron, as if it wasn't obvious before, you're clearly not from the US, because to us, pronouncing "Der-ner-ner-nerrrrr!" Just sounds like you're silly

Re: First North American Black Wii Advert Leaked, Start Saving $199
Wow. That looks beautiful, and it's an amazing deal, too. I almost wish I didn't already have a Wii
Re: Feature: The Making of Furry Legends - Video 1
Well, that video didn't give much information, but at least it looks like the developers know what they're doing.
Re: Interviews: Shin'en Multimedia - Jett Rocket
looks interesting. I'm excited about this one
Re: A $50,000 Cure for Virtual Boy Headaches
Wow. And I'm already not even willing to spend 200 just to get a Virtual Boy in the first place.
Re: Black Wii Could Hit North America in May
I probably would have chosen black if I had the chance from the beginning, but I'm certainly not going to buy another console just for the color.

Was that English? ^^

Re: Review: Surviving High School (DSiWare)
You're right. Many will write this off based on the name alone, and I'm with them. I wasn't expecting this.
Re: Review: Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love (Wii)
I'd never even heard of this until a few days ago. It looks great. Curse all these good games and their inherent effect on my savings.
Re: BBC Study Suggests Brain Training Games are Ineffective
Does anyone play these games actually thinking they're going to be getting smarter by the minute?
Re: Only 8.8% of Japanese Consumers Want to Buy a 3DS
I think the "small" numbers are also due to the fact that Nintendo keeps putting out different versions of the DS, and people aren't ready to pick up another 3DSliteXLultra9000XTREME just yet.
Re: Classic Controller Pro Now On Sale in North America
Alright, now we can play Wii with a PlayStation controller. Wait, it's not?

Re: Nintendo's Room Migration Kit Makes it Even Easier to Move a Wii
45 bucks just so I don't have to unplug a few cords? No, thanks.
Re: Time Travellers Webpage Up, Debut Artwork
Dippin Dots must be WAY ahead of their time then, considering they've been around almost a quarter-century
Re: New Video Shows the Building Blocks of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
I'm super-excited about this game. It looks great.
Re: Real Crimes: Jack the Ripper Stalks onto DSiWare
umm...Nintendo was around in 1889...
Re: Interplay Straps In with Descent for WiiWare
Awesome! I actually just heard of this fairly recently, and I've been wanting to play it. I didn't see this one coming.

Re: Mistwalker in Final Stages of Development With Last Story
I still think it's funny that Final Fantasy's creator is making another RPG called Last Story
Re: Hudson Announces New Mini-Game Collection
If you're going to call Mario Party a minigame collection, then that's the only minigame collection I'm willing to buy at the moment.
Re: Review: Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! (WiiWare)
Harsh...5/10 is a little low. I'd say it's somewhere between 6 and 7. It's a fun game for a while, but it's not that great.
Re: Eminem Prepping Donkey Kong High Score Attempt?
Who knew. I always liked Eminem. One of the few rappers I can stand.
Re: Marines: Modern Urban Combat Deployed In June
"already available in North America..." what? Why haven't I heard of this? Is it any good?
Re: Feature: The Making of the Nintendo Virtual Boy
The one Nintendo console I don't own...I just wish they had done more with it, so I have motivation to own it.
Re: 3DS to Employ Parallax Barrier Technology?
What he said^^
for those of us who don't understand technogeek, what does that picture mean?

Re: Review: Perfect Dark (Game Boy Color)
I still want this game, all these years later. Yeah, it's because I am, and always have been obsessed with PD, but I've heard it's not bad.
Re: Review: Calling (Wii)
Hmm, I expected no less. I'm not a big fan of horror games anyway, and this one looked pretty mediocre.

The screenshots do look pretty good, though.
Re: Trailer: Metroid: Other M FMV Teaser
@FantasiaWHT
I couldn't possibly disagree more vigorously, except for Mario. I don't really care about the story in Mario.
Re: Trailer: Metroid: Other M FMV Teaser
I don't know what you people are complaining or criticizing about; this looks AMAZING to me. I want this game SO BAD now!
Re: Gods vs Humans Strikes WiiWare
sounds like fun. I loved Lemmings and FFCCMLAADL, and I never played Populous, but I know it had a good soundtrack. I'm awaiting this one with much vigor.
Re: Review: Data East Arcade Classics (Wii)
Data East made some good games back in the day, but this collection seems to be missing some of my favorites, so I wont be picking it up

Re: Review: GhostSlayer (WiiWare)
I wasn't expecting anything more from this. I don't think I'll be picking this one up
Re: The Nintendo DS in Breakfast Form
Wow. I don't even know what to say about that.

Re: DS2 Rumour Is Rumour No More
Backwards compatibility is an absolute must. I've never had a DS, so I might get this one if I ever get the money for it.
Re: Gaming from the Heart

fair enough, but I still can't help but read that caption in the voice of someone who just got knocked in the head with a lead pipe.
