@WaveWitch
I've been lurking every now and then. I don't know what happened to all the other oldies, but since most everyone left I haven't been on the forums.

"Developers have said..." all sorts of things throughout the years exaggerating the actual performance and quality of their upcoming games, so that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

All the fresh ideas I see from this game are as a result of the new controller innovations, and not actually as a result of a fresh game. Sure it looks like it could be fun, but it's nothing we haven't seen before. Quite frankly it looks like another Red Steel to me. That game was decent, but nothing special, and certainly a disappointment to most people who bought it on launch day.

Software sells hardware. 3DS has no software. There are like 3 games actually worth buying right now, and it's pretty sad that the best game out for the system is almost 15 years old. Even NL's list of games worth buying before Super Mario isn't too great. Another remake of an even older N64 game, and a couple fairly obscure niche titles. The 3DS will absolutely fail if we don't get any games worthy of the system. It has potential, but no one is buying a $250/180 system just to look at a pretty 3D menu screen and play 20-year-old games.

YES. I have spent time thinking about that, and...I can't figure it out. If we're not getting in in NA, just tell us. Don't give give us non-answers and screw around with everyone by saying "never say never"--just tell us, "never." And, please, most of all, tell us why. Is it because it won't sell? Because that's bullcrap. If we don't get the game in NA, it's not the end of the world, but I want a legitimate reason for this. It's not even about these three games, for me. These three games represent the kind of games we as gamers have been wanting on the Wii, and Nintendo refuses to give them to us. For what reason? Because hardcore games don't sell on Wii? That's mostly due to the fact that you've drummed up your system to be the epitome of casual gaming. So, yes, maybe it's my fault that I bought the Wii in the first place, but the Wii has the games I want to play, Nintendo is just being stubborn about giving them to us.

I honestly don't think it's THAT big of a deal for these three games in particular, and I daresay most people don't, but it's the principle of the thing. Nintendo seems to think it can just abandon its fans when there are clearly decent core games out there, just waiting to be released.
