@Braz I didn't know that's what's considered "shaking"; the method of reloading in the games you mentioned are just meant to emulate pointing the gun away from the screen in an arcade cabinet. If that's how it's handled--just moving it off to the side--then that's fine; I just don't want to actually flail the remote around every time I need to reload.
@BrazCanaMan what kind of on-rails shooters are you playing? All the games I know of (the good ones, anyway) don't require you to lose your bearings by shaking the Wiimote; that's one thing I hated about Onslaught. It made it even worse because the game isn't on-rails. Panda just mentioned a plethora of games that don't use that ridiculous reloading method, and those are--probably not coincidentally--the most popular on the Wii.
I finally ended up getting this game after I put the code in the right place. Great review, Corbie (egads, another infamous 7!) I think you perfectly addressed the frustration to be had.
I tend to agree with Omega. I haven't downloaded the game yet (since I keep getting an error code) but I'm hesitant to keep shelling out money for a game that can't deliver everything it should the first time.
Well, I can actually tell what's going on in this video, unlike with the last one posted on here for this game, a long time ago. It still doesn't look very interesting, though
Well, the premise seems interesting enough. Not that I would have bought it even without reading this review. Mostly because I don't have a DSi, but I can pretend this was a world in which I did, and I didn't buy it anyway.
I really hope you can still break the backboard. This looks like fun, but with all the added features I don't think it's going to have the simple fun of the original.
@xDemon720x for being a grammar slob, you don't seem to realize that changing tense in the middle of a sentence is a huge no-no. The proper way would be "...for what I was trying to say"
"Zoo animals playing disc golf may sound like a pretty awesome idea" Ummm, not so much. I could have guessed at the outcome, just by reading this line. And I did.
@11 That's exactly what I'm saying. The iPad isn't a handheld gaming system anymore than a laptop is, that's why it will never win in the "handheld gaming" market.
Nintendo always has, and will continue to own the handheld market, and the iPad isn't going to change that, anymore than the invention of laptops changed anything.
I think I'm the only person alive who didn't think the SMB movie was bad. It just wasn't good. I mean, I liked it as a kid. I own it now, and it's not horrible. Anyway, sucks for Mr. Hopper. See you on the other side.
WHOA! I didn't think this game would ever grace the VC! I rented this when it first came out but never got around to buying it, and now it's pretty expensive. I didn't even know it was on VC now. Excuse me while I go buy some Nintendo points.
This sounds amazing. I don't care what it is. It's amazing. I literally just finished No More Heroes 2, and I played for 9.5 hours straight when I got it yesterday. Suda's not let me down yet.
I've never been a big fan of King of Fighters. I just discovered it last year, actually, since I've only ever played Nintendo consoles until a few years ago. The challenge in this doesn't sound like one I'll be trying to overcome.

Re: Review: Fantasy Slots: Adventure Slots and Games (WiiWare)
ummm...I think there's a reason I never heard anything about this one.
Re: First Impressions: GoldenEye 007 Multiplayer
I'm glad to hear there's actually local multiplayer. If they got rid of that, I would be VERY disappointed.

I hate to say I saw this one coming. Actually, no, I don't hate to say it.

Re: Review: Furry Legends (WiiWare)
@moosa Thanks, that's what I've been doing wrong. I'll have to try it again.

Re: Nintendo Download: 19th July 2010 (North America)
Whoo, I just got an email that said I won the sweepstakes for a copy of Furry Legends!
Re: Skyward Sword Swinging For Early 2011 Release
Since when has a Zelda game ever NOT been delayed? This isn't surprising.
Re: Review: Toribash (WiiWare)
I was kind of expecting this rating. And I'm still uninterested.
Re: The Last Story Gets Incredible First Trailer
Nice...now where's Xenoblade?
Re: Our Perceptions of 3DS Metal Gear Further Solidify
MGS3 probably had the best story, and the coolest cutscenes, but I didn't like the gameplay as much. I'd still probably pick it up, though.

Re: Brace Yourself for the Best Super Famicom T-Shirt You'll See Today
I thought it was cool until it was 62 fricking bucks!
Re: Review: Maestro! Green Groove (DSiWare)
I'm assuming it's only one movement of each piece and not the whole thing, am I right?
Re: Get Cute and Fluffy with Miffy's World on WiiWare
Yeah, I've never heard of this, either, but is it weird that I'm 22 and I think it looks like a good game?
Re: Win One of 100 Digital Copies of Groovin' Blocks
@84, I just got the second email. It didn't take 12 hours; it took 3 days. But I finally got it
Re: Win One of 100 Digital Copies of Groovin' Blocks
I still haven't got another email with their console code, but it says it's still on. Is anyone else still waiting for theirs?
Re: Iwata: Blame Poor Games Not Poor Economy for Sales Decrease
It's nice to see the someone on the inside essentially officially acknowledge all the shovelware that's out there

I wouldn't be surprised. They already have 100 Classic Books for DS

Re: Sims 3 for Wii Goes Multiplayer, Loses Construction Mode
I always found the actual gameplay in The Sims to be kind of boring. Building the house is 90% of the game, for me.
Re: Review: Samurai Warriors 3 (Wii)
Awesome. I've been looking forward to this one, and I'm glad to hear it's good.
Re: You Can Watch Nintendo's E3 Presentation Live
Zelda Wii. Please, oh, please, Zelda Wii. I have a feeling it's going to be pushed back again, like every other Zelda title that existed before it.
Re: DSi XL Brightens Up with Three New Colours
Nice. The original colors remind me of a nursing home. it's about time they come out with colors that remind me less of geriatric feces

Re: New Shots of Xenoblade Look Awesome
@bro2dragons
aw, that's a shame. I love me some cutscenes. I play RPGs for the story, and cutscenes are a major plus
Re: New Shots of Xenoblade Look Awesome
I've been looking forward to this one since it was announced as Monado. I can't wait!
Re: Australia, Only You Can Own this Awesome Travis Touchdown T-Shirt

Re: Mikami and Suda51's "Mad Genius Horror" Game 50% Complete

Re: Kid Adventures: Sky Captain Has Lift-Off
Wii Sports Resort, anyone?
Still, it looks like it could turn out to be a fairly good game, with a lot of options, besides the obvious WSR ripoff.
Re: Review: Flips: Silent But Deadly (DSiWare)
Sooo, is this intended for anyone above 6th grade? Because it seems not.
Re: Galaxy 2 Bonus DVD Detailed, Definitely Won't Play on Wii
All I want to know is...who are the morons who couldn't figure out the controls in the first game?
Re: Review: Zombie Panic in Wonderland (WiiWare)
I just bought this game, and I agree with the score. It's fun, though repetitive, and way too short.
Re: Review: Bloons (DSiWare)
A mediocre, free flash game for $5? no thanks.
Re: Review: Kung Fu Funk (WiiWare)
