They really did chibi robo dirty in the west. They didn't give us Clean Sweep. They did give us Ziplash, which was kinda fun except for the fact that I had to keep redoing levels because of the roulette at the end. That was bizarre and unnecessary. It would have been great to receive the Wii enhanced Chibi robo that was released in Japan, but alas. I'm sorry, but Skip Ltd. killed the franchise itself.

@JaxonH as I said before, the game was riddled with jagged edges around the characters, the backgrounds shimmered and the textures looked like ps2 Era. We had an mcable running into our switch to boost its output capabilities and it still looked bad. Sometimes I really think l people believe falcom can do no wrong.

After playing the demo on the switch, I was not very impressed. The game looked horrible and ran horrible. If I were to play this series, I'd probably stick to the ps4 version because the engine used doesn't seem to work well with the switch.

I have the first on on ps3 and found it underwhelming. I really haven't been impressed with any of Nihon falcoms more recent titles. I will most likely be sitting this one out.

@popey1980 no, Japanese only. It has furigana though, and I study Japanese. I've also played the 3ds version and have a walk through guidebook for it. There really aren't enough quality of life changes for it to be worth rebuying, but it's nice being able to play it on the tv. I got into yokai watch because I liked the focus on Japanese lore, and so playing it in Japanese helps with that.

@Silly_G we're on 4k now, so even thinking about DVDs makes my head hurt. But to each his own, I guess.

That's a whole lot of nothing. I love Digimon as a show, but those games are atrocious. Pathetic vita games with nothing but hallways and invisible walls. The ps4 version remains the only game I've ever sold off because it was so disappointing

I got yokai watch 1 for Switch. I prefer the 3ds version, but it's nice being able to play the game on a TV.

I'm getting shield because of sliggoo, but it's good to know that ponyta is a shield exclusive over sirfetchd. I'd rather have a cute horse than a duck.

I played stardew Valley when it came out on the switch ages ago.... It's hard to believe they are still making stuff for it. While I enjoyed it and out over 100 hours into it, I'd rather see something fresh than play and updated stardew Valley. Maybe someday

I'm planning on importing it. I played the original 3DS game and have a decent knowledge of Japanese, so I'm going to just play it in Japanese

Not a big fan of the voice changes, but I will probably just wait for an English version anyway. Not sure what the point is in cha gong the character designs when the sprites look pretty much the same.

I had this game on ps4 and it was the only game I've ever actually sold.... It was a massive disappointment of a game. I won't be buying this.

@Wexter idk, they published two banjo games on the gba, so I don't know how this would be any different.

While that's exciting for new fans, I've been personally done with this game for a while. These updates are just too long in coming. They should have made a sequel instead of continuing to patch the game.

Agreed. My husband is a die hard Sega fan and plays most of his Sega games on Xbox for that very reason. I like rare, so rare replay is a favorite of mine. It's a shame the Xbox one gets overlooked so often. Especially when most of the time X1X is the best way to play.

I remember as a lefty being told I should hold controllers upside down so I could tap the buttons with my dominant hand. Maybe that's what's going on here? The kid is lefty, and he naturally favors his left hand?

How about a digital or physical version of super Mario 3d world on the Switch? Now that would be cool.

I am currently playing and can't say I agree with your review much. A lot of your complaints seem minor (like holding y to hold the prince's hand and only using the d pad on the menu). Yes, you die often, but the game auto saves nearly all the time. At its core, liar princess is a puzzle game and deserves to be treated like one. The fighting mechanics are not clunky; they are simplistic, as one would expect from a puzzle game that does not prioritize combat. I am just disappointed that a lot of people will probably overlook this charming title because of a few minor complaints and a seemingly confused reviewer who doesn't quite understand what the game is all about.

I bought this on Xbox one and I'd buy it again on switch.

@Bunkerneath story trailers focus on story, not game play. They usually have a separate video for that.

My son and (strangely enough since he doesn't play Pokémon) my husband are psyched for this movie. I've been a Pokémon fan since red version came out, and my son is a huge Pikachu fan. We are planning on seeing it in theaters. Admittedly, I'm mostly interested in hearing Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu.

I'm more interested in the next elder scroll game instead anyway.

My son is obsessed with Pikachu, so we're getting that version.

I have a tablet with a case similar to this and it has marks on it from the cover. Not something I want to subject my Switch to. I have a very expensive screen protector on my Switch and I keep it in a game case, and that seems to work just fine.

I live near Chicago, so I'm definitely going to try and check it out!

Pretty much. I looked into this initially, and was disappointed. I don't like that they use the graphic novel style cut scenes instead of using in game rendered graphics scenes. It just seems excessively lazy to me. I won't be picking this up.

I have Yooka Laylee physical on Xbox one and digitally on switch already, so I will probably just pass. It's disappointing, but I can't justify buying the game three times.

We have Grandia on saturn and ps1 and Grandia 2 on dc/ps2/steam. Grandia 2 is awesome. I can't wait to play it on switch. I wonder if they're release them digital only or physically?

Cybersleuth is literally the only game I've ever actually up and sold. I have no faith that Bandai Namco can make a good Digimon game. It's a shame because I love the cartoon, but the games have always been nothing but disappointing to me.

Speaking of which, has anyone had their lights burn out on their 3DS units? I have the gold Zelda XL that my kid uses and I noticed the charging light no longer turns on. It still charges just fine. I figured it's because he always leaves his handheld on and plugged in and the light just burnt out.

From what I've seen of the game I'm most likely not picking it up. This just adds fuel to the fire for me. I'm tired of psvita ported ps4 and switch games. I'll stick to games like Xenoblade 2 to get my jrpg fill until they actually start coming out with something impressive in the rpg category again.
