@timson72 that's the problem when you support different platforms. Exciting news becomes run of the mill. I already have Doom on the Xbox. So do I want it again.
I have had this game from day one and it can be fun but samey. I never managed to connect to the online features. An error code is returned and when you ask for a server check, everything is fine but still can't get on the server. Please fix.
I loved playing on the WiiU but when the Switch came along, I realised I did not have the time or money for both systems and chose to support the Switch. I suppose that is what it will boil down to eventually. Nintendo will probably regret saying they will support the WiiU as it will not fit in with their plans for the future and Wii U owners will eventually feel they are being unsupported. The WiiU will become a retro machine.
I really wanted the toon link amibo but in the UK the asking price was between £50 -£70 which is not reasonable. In the end I bought it from a company in Japan for £20.00 incl post and packaging. it took 2 weeks to arrive.
I must admit I do like puzzles. I'm not keen on the graphics of this game and I have just bought levels, which is quite addictive. I also have a few games now and need to start playing them. So probably will look back at this one once I have gotten through the games I have already. Glad to see more puzzle type games coming to the switch.
I enjoy this game as it is a time out type of game. I don't think it is meant to grab you in any special way. It is a game that lets you meander along and engage in a relaxing way.
I played call of duty on the xbox up to black ops 2. That's when I realised there was a lot of missions that seemed to be showing up from the past games but dressed up to look new. I don't want call of duty to darken my door step.
If you don't have the skills to work with the device then don't get involved. Not everything is gimped because the developers feel the device is not powerful enough.
After all of the above. I personally like my oversized brick which looks cool sitting underneath my oversized TV in my oversized games room. I'm a happy Switcher.
The problem (as you mentioned it) is that the company is Nyko. I've had products made by them in the past and they've been cheap in quality. I'm hoping this turns it around for them but after hearing your ball-pit story, somehow I'm not feeling like this is worth the investment. Somehow, I feel that something on the Switch will break because I decided to go with a company which does not have such a good track record.
@MegaTen I bought my switch on the release date and use it docked an undocked and have no scratches on the screen. I am not that particularly careful when undocking. I'm not sure how some people can scratch the screen and others can't.
Wonder how much production time went in to customising them and what the final production cost was. Would be interesting to see how much profit they are making from each sale.
I am glad the Switch has come along. It has allowed me the freedom to game with decent graphics where ever and when ever I want. As the Sony guy said maybe the time was not right for the WiiU but it certainly is for the Switch and I hope it is around a lot longer than the WiiU.
@everyone and anyone who can answer this question. I have to ask what makes a console a success? Can anyone answer. Because when I read up on the other consoles there is just as much negativity.
With the friends list I would like to be able to click on the game they are playing and be taken straight to the lobby they are in so I can play along with them. Maybe that is something to do with the game it self but it would be great.
I still have my wii hooked up next to the wii u, switch and xbox s. I mainly play game cube stuff on it. Still enjoy it as much as the wiiU and switch.
Trolls and losers basically. When I play on the Nintendo servers I enjoy myself more. On the Microsoft servers I get stressed as there is more abuse. Really don't want nintendo to introduce in game chat.
@cfgk24 Dash boarding is done by using a hack to stop the game mid play and everyone loses their points. Very popular in the call of duty games on the xbox.
Hi There, Thanks for the info will try tonight. Nintendo have been in touch and want my account details and switch serial number, not sure why they want the serial number.
@cfgk24 I agree totally have had a great time on the switch and wiiu. Far better experience online with Nintendo than Microsoft and guess what no dash boarding.
Not played this game, sooo glad it is coming to the switch. I love these kind of games and the Switch in my opinion needs these games. Summer is looking good.
I am glad they are bringing Siberia to the Switch. I love this type of game it lets you chill out after a bad at work. I remember Flashback but not sure if I played it but looks interesting.
I'm still enjoying Zelda. When I play I keep forgetting I am there to kill the big boss and I end up wandering around exploring instead. My main quest at the moment is to reveal the map so I spend most of my time climbing the towers. Once I have done the towers I will move on to the shrines. When I have done the shrines, I will do the side quests and anything else that raises its little head. but I just love wandering around. I may never complete Breath of the Wild. I did do some shrines before I settled on the idea of climbing the towers, so I have about 6 hearts, which can make life difficult.
Still cannot find the cartoon textures I bought and seemingly downloaded according to the minecraft icon and eshop. Nintendo have not responded to my email asking can they check what has went wrong. Feeling ripped off.
Has anyone experienced problems with the download content. I bought the cartoon textures, it downloaded but I can't find it in the menu and the trial version is still active. Have emailed nintendo. Still waiting to hear back.
I've been playing for 35 hours according to my switch and to be honest I am not interested in helping Princess Zelda and am happy wandering around doing my own thing. Compared to my experience with Skyrim, Breath of the Wild is far the better one and you do feel a sense of freedom to do and go where you want. 10/10.
There may be a few reasons why the Switch is not totally sold out in the UK and this could be that the UK is in a state of austerity. People are unsure of brexit. Also the school holidays are in April and a lot of families will be saving their hard earned cash for going on holiday. The Switch launch date may have not been a good one for the UK.
Why does the Switch have to sell out in your country or town to be a success. The Xbox S and PS4 never sold out in the shops in my town and that would mean they didn't sell out in my country when they launched. I didn't hear anything negative about that.
I m glad I went for the early buy. The switch I have seems to have none of the issues reported. I use it solely as a hand held as that is how I have always envisaged the Switch. So in my opinion the switch should only get better.
@Thaswizz Exactly my feelings. I play the majority of WiiU games on the pad and longed for the ability to become fully mobile. Now I have the Switch, I am.

I haven't got time to waste on a pointless exercise such as hacking a WiiU. get a life.

A good deal all around.
Re: Poll: The New Nintendo 2DS XL is Out This Week - Are You Tempted?

Nyko are now selling it on their site. So I am guessing it is no longer a proto type. https://nyko.com/products/portable-docking-kit-for-nintendo-switch
