Re: GameStop Describes Nintendo Switch Launch as "One of the Strongest" in Recent Years

I wasn't going to buy the Switch but I was in Toys r Us late afternoon on the launch day looking for reduced Wiiu games and I saw the last grey switch they had on the shelf and went for it.
I was pleasantly surprised how user friendly it has been and I am loving Breath of the Wild. I have tried it on the TV as a console but really prefer it has a hand held. SO glad I took the punt. No regrets. 10 out of 10 Nintendo.

Currently playing Metroid prime Wii version and although Samus can feel a bit clunky at times when jumping from object to object. I am still amazed at how the art work and music draws you into the game. The creatures and bosses created for the game are some of the most original and fascinating I have seen in any game so far. Totally love this game and highly rate it and recommend it for gamers who love adventurers.

HMV games buyer Nathan Allen also had a positive response, and expressed the desire to see Nintendo sell the console at a competitive price:
I find Nathan's comments a bit more than cheeky considering my local HMV hasn't stocked Nintendo games for the last couple of years. I expressed many times to HMV staff my desire to purchase Nintendo games and was told many a time that would not be happening.

I have noticed that people are posting that they are happy to pay £249.99 and above for the switch. I paid £249.99 for the Xbox S bundled with Battle 1. If the switch is not packing something that is worth paying above the 250 - 300, I m sure people will shy away until the price falls.

Re: Xbox Bosses Praise The "Bold Vision" Of Nintendo Switch

I must agree after spending time flitting between the Wii, Wii U and Xbox I went back to the Nintendo machines as I love the art work and comedy elements of the Nintendo IP's. I suppose I am a Nintendo fan boy deep down but yes it would be nice to have some of the AAA games on the switch for variety.

Re: Guide: Everything We Now Know About the Nintendo Switch

The sensor bar for the Wii was used with the Wii u that is what I mean by old tech. So I am so hoping they have addressed this and like Jeronan said if the connectivity is in the docking station itself that could address the problems the sensor bar had when trying to detect the controllers.

Did anyone notice a sensor bar. I assume because just dance is coming to the switch there must be a sensor some where. It would be great if a better detection system has been developed. The sensor bar is so old tech.
Also I hope just as much design thought has been put into the power pack so it looks part of the switch's cool look.
