I thought X and Y were pretty meh, and mega evolutions were just a gimmick.The only good thing is that they snobbed the 3d gimmick of 3ds. Now Sword and Shield, i liked the graphics and some of the new pokemon designs but it was a pretty by-the numbers game too. Haven't played Arceus yet. It may not be BOTW of pokemon but a breath of fresh air never hurts

So Pokemon sold massive 1.424.657 units and second best selling game (Mario Party Superstars) sold just...19k. Arceus won't sell as much as Animal Crossing but Pokemon franchise in total outsell all other games (except Mario+Mario Spin offs)

Sony and Nintendo can't beat Microsoft in Monopoly, their pockets are not as deep. I don't want Sony to buy Namco and keep Monster Hunter etc only for themselves. Maybe Sony and Nintendo could team up not merge

Its def a spin off. But spin offs sometimes can be better than the mainline series like Persona overshadowed shin megami tensei or like Forza Horizon took the lead over Forza Motorsport series

Its a great game certainly worth having. I bought a Vita mainly to play this. Hope its 20 euro/dollars like Steam version.

I would prefer a real cross-platform Mario Kart 9 built from scratch for next gen Switch than a more of a same MK8. Would like to see next gen features not more guest appearences from Nintendo's IP's. And Nintendo should start to invest in long term support of the games. I would like to have 10 year updates on next gen MK

@dew12333 there's enough PS5 sold in rest of the world (near 17mil) to make profit. PS5 games outsell PS4 games already, its not only the installed numbers but most of PS5 owners -under these circuimstances- are hardcore gamers

In my opinion they should release it as an expansion pack for a lower price, and save Splatoon 3 for Switch 2.

As a huge JRPG fan i'm happy when JRPGS are getting popular in the west. Hope we will see more of them. 800k in holiday season is not a breakthrough but its encouraging

Persona 5
Kid Icarus 3ds port (yeah it runs on nintendo hardware already, just not current one)
Persona 3,4,5
FF7 Remake, it runs on UE4 it needs to rebuild from scratch to be
able to run on Switch weak hardware.

3D Open World sounds like a disaster. Maybe they should stick to what they're good on. Japanese flag artwork looks cool though

I don't have Xbox but Forza Horizon looks like the first real next-gen title. Monster Hunter Rise is an achievement for a mobile device but its not a better game overall

SMT Is a niche franchise. It sells better in US. It’s not as mainstream as Persona series.

I'm against piracy but they left us no choice and Mother 3 fan translation is really great. You can patch it over your original japanese rom and play it on ur Analogue Pocket or ur GBA ipsv2.

Everyone is praising Analogue Pocket so much. I wish Nintendo would release an affordable real Gameboy (with amoled preferred) or just buy Analogue and move to mass production

Original series was very well made. Kids were watching it and then wanted to buy a gameboy color to play it. Gym fights were really interesting. New series still try to be a big ad for main series and make us care for new pokemon but its not the same

I think Wii U downplaying motion controls to focus on Wii U pad was a major reason for its downfall. Controls with Wii U pad wasn't as fun as with Wii Mote

Prices little more than 100$ are not cheap for sure, and material don't look really premium but still its not unreachable for such niche collection. Maybe some influencer could have some use for them on insta or cosplay (or give them to ur gf)
