I hit the game hard the first year... Took about 6 months off and came back with a vengeance... I've spent about $25-30 dollars total on my 3 accounts and most of that was early on when I didn't know about the free coins from gyms. I can see why people spend tons of money but I don't mind not being able to hatch eggs all the time or use eggs more often than I do

This game has been what I've been playing while everyone else was talking about Celeste. The button mapping is awesome because I wasn’t a fan of how things are by default. Leader boards will also be cool. Buy this game if you love meat boy or Celeste

I started playing this while everyone was excited to be playing Celeste. Still have world 5 to beat so hopefully by the time this is released I will have gone through the game

If Splatoon 2 had not been released so close to arms, it would have been played by me way more. I still come back to it occasionally but usually only when I can wrangle some friends to play together or for the "splatfest" events

I've put in 80 hrs so far and I just started my third year. Excited for multi player so I can play with my girl. The slow saving is definitely annoying so fixing that will be nice.

Ive been an Xbox live gold user since the x360. I have maybe used voice chat maybe 20 times in 12 years... I mostly ended up having to mute a bunch of potty mouths or simply stop playing online games. That being said, Nintendo's app needs to allow the screen to be off and still work. It also needs to allow us to chat outside of a game. The only reason I am enjoying using it is because I love Splatoon and I have several friends I am playing with.

I'm still hoping for a Nintendo Infinity, Nintendo Dimensions or Ninlanders game that uses the amiibos like those games do.

Would have been nice if they added the option to backup our game save files to an sd card or USB thumb drive...like on the Wii U and 3ds. Since cloud saving doesn't seem to be ever be an option a Nintendo console, you would think by know they would have given us some backup option.

I'm waiting to buy it once I know what Pokemon is coming to Switch, but it's good to see how well it is doing

@LordGeovanni I finally had this happen to me too when hitting pokestops. Very annoying because I don't have any stops close to where I live so driving past 12-15 a day to and from work is my only way to get items to keep capturing and battling.

I used it today and had no issues. It still helps me catch Pokemon that don't show up on the app but it sucks at getting pokestops if I move fast.

@Uncensored I love off the play too. Watching a show and gaming on my Wii U is multi tasking at its best.

I will be driving to work trying not to get into an accident as I watch the video.

If Mario Maker and Splatoon had been launch titles, Wii U would have sold way better since that would have given 3rd party great examples of gamepad use...or if those 2 games couldn't be launch games, if gamepad had been sold separately imagine the Wii u selling for $200-50 at launch... 3rd party would of had the option to not to waste/use resources to find cool ways to use gamepad well (other than for off tv play)

@fiben1002 I am with you 100%. Hopefully Nintendo makes the Wii u tablet compatible with NX so people that have it can use it for at least off tv play.

An eshop demo, even if it was only 10 mins, would be awesome...make it happen nintendo

I appreciate developers that put their games in a Humble Bundle. I don't have an infinite amount of money so I pass up a bunch of grade games throughout the year... so when something like this pops up it is nice to support good charities and receive great games too. Even if all you do is put $1 in you get some great games there... but put in $13 plus if you have it!

Nice work. I personally wouldn't mind a 3d version of that awesome Snes game. It might be interesting to play the game that way.

Pretty sweet room... I wish I had kept all my games from when I was a kid...I should ask my mom what she did with it all.

@CB85 I go back and forth between mario maker and splatoon... I hate neglecting either game but both deserve my time too. I also have so many other wii u good games I haven't desired to play since these 2 games came out (watch dogs, hyrule warriors, mk8, runbow, pikmin3, wonderful101, darksiders2, stealth2).

Great single player game! But like others have stated, online has been tough to find people to play with. This game is awesome when you get a 4+ games online (or local)....but I will take 1v1.

@bluedogrulez so u r one of the opponents I love to hate playing against! Sprayers haunt my roller dreams. Lol

@BarryDunne I have that on the Wii U and I picked up RE Mercenaries a couple months ago.... but you can never have too much zombie fun right?

How much for this game? I need a zombie game on my Wii u that is not zombie u.

@Peanutosan I didn't have connectivity issues so maybe the problem is on your end... playing on WiFi or slow broadband maybe

I had an easy time preordering the set. I called 2 GS near me and both said they still had pre orders available and it was 4:30p. I just got back and glad that I didn't have to show up early for this one.

@Whopper744 I am with you 1000% for a Splatoon lite for my 3DS... I would be cool to play that game on the go!

@mercurio2054 I agree with you on the frame rate being better than reviewer experienced. I enjoy driving in this game. The only reason I haven't played it more is because I have kids and this game has a bit too much profanity. 7.5 of 10 for me

@andrea987 Game crashes on me a lot as well... has been pushing me away from playing the game and I was having so much fun too... I have about 7 islands visited but now I am occasionally playing and trying to avoid leaving my island because that is when the game crashes

I am 55+ days into survival but I stopped playing because of the some of the issues that will be fixed soon and for lack of time (Splatoon is still taking up a lot of my gaming time). Looking forward to the local co-op because my son and I have been dying to play the game together instead of one watching the other play. Great job Cypronia!
