Re: Video: What's It Like To Play DOOM With Motion Controls, Then?

YamAsereht

TLDR: Person in video talks about why developers of DOOM may have added motion controls. Shows it compares to Splatoon motion controls via a 360 degree controller turn. Prefers non motion controls (even on S2, as not sensitive enough).

That's 4 mins of my precious time I won't get back. I have seen more content in the Dr Who Max Headroom pirate hack TBH.

Re: Review: Shiftlings - Enhanced Edition (Switch eShop)

YamAsereht

It's important to be drunk whilst writing a review sssssssssssss, in order to correct all spelling mistakes and enable passion for gaming. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Lets hope developer is impressed with reviewer for special features ahahahahhaahahhahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh </ br>

Re: Review: Samurai Shodown II (Switch eShop / Neo Geo)

YamAsereht

Love it! I remember playing the WIi VC version to death back when it was released. I think this one is one of the most asthmatic fighting games ever created even behind LB, and certainly rewards patience.

Very hard to say if I prefer II or IV though. II has more atmosphere and slightly more nicer backgrounds, where as IV is shorter, but has a nicer final boss and somewhat more unique gameplay and cool character rouster. Anybody who is unsure, should just get both, even with a preference those are not redundant entries at all.

Re: Take-Two "Impressed" With Switch, But Has No Games To Announce Right Now

YamAsereht

Less talk, more action Take Two! That poor PR talk is nearly same as as a non-switch owner saying they are impressed with the Switch, but have no intentions of buying one.

You are either making games for Switch, or not. It's not rocket science. So announce something proper, and stop acting like an overpaid and overweight manager who just sits there all day on his desk eating pizza.

Re: Soapbox: The Super Mario Movie Might Not Be All That Great

YamAsereht

Oh look, another pessimistic Alex Olney clickbait video/article slating an video game movie announcement, before we even have any new information/trailers. I suppose I should be very grateful that article was free from spelling errors.

If you guys need clicks today, why not teach Wii U owners how to hack their console and add translations patches for illegal Japan only Famicom/Super Famicom ROMs.

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st February (Europe)

YamAsereht

Whats with the sloppy spelling mistakes on several articles as of late? Although I am not an English professor, its very just amateur hour and shows you guys don't care about the job involved.

ImageFight II and Mr Heli, eh? What a nice surprise. Going to download sometime down the line. The shooter genre is going through a very nice revival. Really hope we see the Cho Aniki games.

Re: RiME's Developer Has Been "Working Tirelessly" On A New Patch To Fix The Buggy Switch Port

YamAsereht

Not buying unless very heavily discounted. Hey, if management of those companies are happy to rush a game for release and disrespect gamers who forked out money in the process, why should they get that same respect? Same goes for 2K games.

Hope it doesn't get patched. Next time release a finish game. Don't just sit there scoffing pizza and counting money like and overpaid heavily obese manager

Re: Review: Zero Gunner 2 (Switch eShop)

YamAsereht

@meppi - Thanks a lot for your review and warning everybody this ZG 2 is not a faithful port. Will be letting this ship pass by me. Too bad as was strongly considering a download. Hope Strikers 1945 II is a faithful port.

Wonder why this review didn't mention issues, at least audio glitchs (others complaining of dropped sound effects and music not playing properly at times)

Re: Review: Zero Gunner 2 (Switch eShop)

YamAsereht

From what I read, the Zerodiv shooters are not emulated ports, but seem to be ported via the source code. Are those game impossible to emulate or something? - https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=60886&start=90

Too bad as this game was a "strong maybe", not buying if its an inaccurate port. Same with Gunbird now. Wonder why those issues were not in review? Will give benefit of doubt and hoping JPN got some bad version.

Re: Video: Not Everyone Is Pleased With Nintendo Labo

YamAsereht

@Damo - Thanks for the suggestion on going outside for a nice relaxing walk to chill, however I already get my oxytocin from cardo at the gym. Still a good tip I appreciate though.

It's true I do have hate for articles that come across as "clickbait", and some stuff on here that comes across as "unprofessional". Maybe I am trying to like this site, more due to site layout and users on here, but poor news and some other stuff "unprofessional" on here kills the mood for me.

That's all I have to say.

As Nintendo Labo - not my cup of tea, but I see why Nintendo would come up with this to market towards family/children (bad idea to focus on adult gamers alone IMO).
