TLDR: Person in video talks about why developers of DOOM may have added motion controls. Shows it compares to Splatoon motion controls via a 360 degree controller turn. Prefers non motion controls (even on S2, as not sensitive enough).
That's 4 mins of my precious time I won't get back. I have seen more content in the Dr Who Max Headroom pirate hack TBH.
It's important to be drunk whilst writing a review sssssssssssss, in order to correct all spelling mistakes and enable passion for gaming. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Lets hope developer is impressed with reviewer for special features ahahahahhaahahhahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh </ br>
@Anti-Matter Not a pessimist. I am watching the Labo news in a curious manner, as it looks interesting. Just don't want to see news articles videos talking down to the audience. (I would hope NL are not paid for this tripe)
You know you are a professional journalist, when you have to rely on a clickbait title to get views. Thankfully not many people didn't fall for it on this one (proud to say I am an adblock user)
Action speaks louder than words. Saying "It’s a very attractive platform" isn't going to make games. Are you making games or not. yes or no? Not PR spin...
Why on earth does this article insinuate everybody is from North America? May as well just call crisps "Potato Chips" and spell "Colour" as "Color", even if our are out of NA.
Love it! I remember playing the WIi VC version to death back when it was released. I think this one is one of the most asthmatic fighting games ever created even behind LB, and certainly rewards patience.
Very hard to say if I prefer II or IV though. II has more atmosphere and slightly more nicer backgrounds, where as IV is shorter, but has a nicer final boss and somewhat more unique gameplay and cool character rouster. Anybody who is unsure, should just get both, even with a preference those are not redundant entries at all.
Yay another blog post disguised as a news article. I guess the fatcats at NintendoLife requested this. Whilst Dom does all the hard work, the money goes into the pockets of those at top, just so the overweight fatcats can scoff pizza all day long.
Here is a fun image article caption: 3 guys put the body of Take-Two president Karl Slatoff, into a car boot after 2 awful Switch ports of WWE 2k18 and NBA.
Less talk, more action Take Two! That poor PR talk is nearly same as as a non-switch owner saying they are impressed with the Switch, but have no intentions of buying one.
You are either making games for Switch, or not. It's not rocket science. So announce something proper, and stop acting like an overpaid and overweight manager who just sits there all day on his desk eating pizza.
Wow six games, what an amazing achievement. Who would have thought a studio would have six titles in development. THATS AMAZING! If a studio beat that and had 7 games in develop, I guess the world would explode. I mean SIX GAMES THATS OUTSTANDING!
@manu0 Yeah, I remember North America, had to wait a week later for ACA Neo Geo launch, even though Europe and Japan got them on Switchmas Day. Apart from that, always a worldwide release.
@Joker13z Yeah, very iffy when you have a sharp eye and read their news on here a lot.
To be fair, even if this news only applies to Japan for now, Hamster have been really good with releasing the same game worldwide since 2-3 weeks after Switch was launched.
@Joker13z This site LOVES clickbait (and spelling mistakes). It payz teh billz. Even the alt title for the image is wrong (almost this site is trying to sabotage its SEO ranking and screen readers).
Will be getting this on release as would like to play the uncensored version, as opposed to Wii VC version.
Oh look, another pessimistic Alex Olney clickbait video/article slating an video game movie announcement, before we even have any new information/trailers. I suppose I should be very grateful that article was free from spelling errors.
If you guys need clicks today, why not teach Wii U owners how to hack their console and add translations patches for illegal Japan only Famicom/Super Famicom ROMs.
Whats with the sloppy spelling mistakes on several articles as of late? Although I am not an English professor, its very just amateur hour and shows you guys don't care about the job involved.
ImageFight II and Mr Heli, eh? What a nice surprise. Going to download sometime down the line. The shooter genre is going through a very nice revival. Really hope we see the Cho Aniki games.
@Peppy_Hare Oh yeah, when you bring CRT TV image quality into it, it does indeed make a drastic difference. Fond memories of playing Wii VC games on my big CRT back in in the day here. Nothing more awesome playing pre-HD era games on a CRT TV.
@Peppy_Hare In most causes, I agree except for Neo Geo stuff. The emulation quality on Switch ACA releases are miles better, as they do not have display issues, censorship and disabled flashing (worse in Metal Slug and fighting games, when a match is finished.)
Not buying unless very heavily discounted. Hey, if management of those companies are happy to rush a game for release and disrespect gamers who forked out money in the process, why should they get that same respect? Same goes for 2K games.
Hope it doesn't get patched. Next time release a finish game. Don't just sit there scoffing pizza and counting money like and overpaid heavily obese manager
@meppi - Thanks a lot for your review and warning everybody this ZG 2 is not a faithful port. Will be letting this ship pass by me. Too bad as was strongly considering a download. Hope Strikers 1945 II is a faithful port.
Wonder why this review didn't mention issues, at least audio glitchs (others complaining of dropped sound effects and music not playing properly at times)
Too bad as this game was a "strong maybe", not buying if its an inaccurate port. Same with Gunbird now. Wonder why those issues were not in review? Will give benefit of doubt and hoping JPN got some bad version.
Incomplete Volumes on a streaming service? Lol what is this the early 90s? $3 is expensive for a specific breadcrumbs-esque anime , when complete Pokemon season 1 was on Netflix. You lost a sale, Amazon.
@Damo - Thanks for the suggestion on going outside for a nice relaxing walk to chill, however I already get my oxytocin from cardo at the gym. Still a good tip I appreciate though.
It's true I do have hate for articles that come across as "clickbait", and some stuff on here that comes across as "unprofessional". Maybe I am trying to like this site, more due to site layout and users on here, but poor news and some other stuff "unprofessional" on here kills the mood for me.
That's all I have to say.
As Nintendo Labo - not my cup of tea, but I see why Nintendo would come up with this to market towards family/children (bad idea to focus on adult gamers alone IMO).
@masterLEON Ouch didn't think those display issue badly effected animation as well. Really glad now, some of those Neo Geo games didn't come out for Wii outside Japan, the Switch ports are much much better, which I first noticed after re-buying KoF 99 and 2000.
What a spammy and nonsense article. Why shouldn't Dark Souls work on Switch? It's not like a 3DS game, with heavy use of twin screen features are getting ported over.
And no, I won't be watching the video as usual. Esp when there is a risk of a crap Alex joke...
@Jack_Goetz The law/guidelines doesn't apply to NL. Also a bit weird there is an affiliate link for Street Fighter Collection, when an editor could knock up another article linking to hacking arcade ROMS to NES/SNES mini classics, which this site sometimes churns out.

No need for a Switch VC now. Very safe to say Nintendo UK in full support on users downloading ROMs, if yet another of those articles are live.
Re: Video: Nintendo Labo Is Much More Than Cardboard, You Guys
Nintendo Labo Is Much More Than Cardboard? No S*it, Sherlock.
And no, not watching the vid.I saw from 1:40 there was either gibberish or just stating the blatantly obvious.

Whats this, an Alex Olney video that isn't clickbait or provocative ? Has hell frozen over? :shock
Glad this has improved visuals, although still own the Wii U Limited Edition (brand new), so might be passing.
Re: Nintendo Wants To Make Greater Use Of Downloadable Content In The Future
As long as Nintendo doesn't do DLC abuse with content that could be easily main game like with Xenoblade 2 and Zelda BOTW, I won't mind.

Re: Review: Zero Gunner 2 (Switch eShop)
From what I read, the Zerodiv shooters are not emulated ports, but seem to be ported via the source code. Are those game impossible to emulate or something? - https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=60886&start=90

Re: Samurai Shodown II Slashes Its Way To The Switch eShop Next Week
Only reason I won't be getting this day 1 is due to owning the Wii VC version (even if that version does have strange display issues).
No brainier if you never played Samurai Shodown II. Worth it just for the Engrish translation intro.
Re: Video: Not Everyone Is Pleased With Nintendo Labo
(too busy playing Splatoon 2 and Xenoblade 2 to even care about provocative content).
Maybe do a video next on soft modding a Switch if in that desperate need of clicks?
Re: Random: This Japanese Kid Was Living The Nintendo Labo Dream In October Last Year
Looks like NLife really are running out of ideas for news stories. Maybe post a story of the kid who was born when Nintendo Switch was launched?

8 out of 10, even when you consider soundtrack issues. Yeeeeah, you can see that NL, didn't properly play this game exactly like their other reviews.
Re: These New PlayStation-Themed Totaku Figurines Sure Do Remind Us Of Something
Here is my two cents
1) This isn't a Nintendo news article. I guess it was a failed attempt for extra clicks.
2) That tagline was painful to read and would make and English teacher cry.
Better luck next time, McFarran.
