@the8thark If only that was true, sadly when you report stuff like this as news, you are promoting piracy. I have seen other news here with citations to ROM translation and video how to guides on hacking snes mini classics.

As for the reviews here, I don't trust them due to past of reviewing VC games using PC ROMS and 5 min reviews of WiiWare games.

Another hypocritical double standard article. It beggars believe NintendoUK have a relationship with this site; who in turn are trying to keep their Switch/3DS exploit free for developers, and you post this smut as news?

@uhhhhhhhh Ha, this is the same site tat posts clickbait and Rom hacks, yet if a user posted such content in the forum, his/her thread would be locked.

Once again, a game suffers thanks to a rushed out 5 minute job review.

This looks nice and all. However what I want to see is a free ROM download of the switch version of BOTW. Perhaps a kind NintendoLife editor or even a moderator can point me n the right direction? After all they do advocate such illegal activity.

Would have been even more awesome, if there was a rom hack in the link of the article, as this site sure does love retro rom hack articles.

Judging by his attempts at wit and the forced smile, Alex really does hate his job, more so he can't even review a demo properly.

Might get this somewhere down the WiiWare gets yanked. Don't care about this review, this is the same reviewer who removed comments on VC-REVIEWS back in day to cover his mistakes, and loved reviewing ROMS from the Wii VC days.

This is an excellent selection of games. But will it have good emulation? Nearly all collections I played either have odd querks and bugs there and there or horrible emulation. disabled rain effects and scratchy sound effects on those SNK Wii collections for example.

LOL I didn't get the chance to play those on Wii U. Maybe if I am lucky, a generous NLife reader will give me a copy of the special edition bundle, direct from a Nintendolife article.

Naaaaaaa I don't need a Alex Olney trick video to let me know if I should download or not (though I can tell he despises his job with the way he talks). Sonic Forces wan an absolute blast despite his "preview" review he removed on youtube a while back.

@Rhaoulos Sorry, just seen your comment now. It's true as others have stated, for me the monetisation itself is not an issue. What bothers me most is that some of the articles are disguised as content, without being upfront that they affiliate links or +1 for adlinks etc . Comes across as trickery and spammy (worse with the clickbait titles like in this article)

@SmaMan You could get the Wii's SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1, for same price, though the emulation on those games ranges from iffy to awful. Those disk collections are only good if you want games on the cheap, NOT for good emulation quality like Hamster releases.

Hmmm conflicting review here. As a new Switch owner I want this game, but at the same time Nintendolife also seemed to have uploaded a Youtube video a while back saying it is a bad game. -
