Aha yeah the Mario Party video is hilarious. Love that one. I knew about the AI in the Donkey Kong stage but that other one is pretty good too.

I find E3 press conferences to be bloated and dull anyway. Just show me the games and get your point across. This is good news.

While I do tend to fall into the "slightly concerned" crowd, it is good to see something new. A series needs to evolve or it becomes stale. That's a fact.

Yes, I actually own Fast Racing League and it's quite a good game. With all due respect, it doesn't even come close to F-Zero GX (or F-Zero X) in quality though. F-Zero GX is one of my favourite games of all time and I hold it in very high regard.

That doesn't even remotely suggest they are making a new F-Zero.
I'd like F-Zero in some more capable hands anyway, no offense to Shin'en. Hopefully we'll get some Sega and Nintendo collaboration again - GX was a masterpiece.

I wish this game would come to a Nintendo system or PC. It looks like a ton of fun.

Awesome! I'll be getting it on PC though, but this is still good news for Wii U owners. Rocksteady isn't developing it so it will be interesting to see how it turns out compared to the brilliant Arkham Asylum and City.

Yes please! I had a third party cradle for a year or so, but the battery packs stopped charging. I would buy this.

Great interview. I agree with a lot of what Pachter says; Nintendo does make some questionable decisions. I'm not even sure I'd invest in them if given the chance.

HMV is absolutely my favourite place to buy blu-rays and CDs. The prices, selection and customer service are fantastic. I'm in Canada though so this might not apply to the UK stores. My local HMV doesn't even sell video games anymore.

I still play Days of Ruin to this day. Advance Wars is brilliant and needs to make a comeback. I've always preferred it over Fire Emblem too.

I don't think this is going to sell a single Wii U, unfortunately. I've heard it's a great game though. If I wanted it, I'd get it on Steam for $5 during a sale (as @DerpSandwich pointed out).

Indeed. For some reason people use the whole gameplay>graphics argument as though they are two mutually exclusive concepts. If anything, graphics and hardware power improve gameplay dramatically.

So? I'm not talking about sales. I'm saying the Wii U is going to be a generation behind in tech (like the Wii) and will lose third party interest (like the Wii).

As long as Nintendo continues to be a generation behind on the technology front, none of these announcements should be a surprise to anyone. The Wii U is going to have the same fate as the Wii, for the exact same reasons. Once PS4 and Xbox720 are out, the Wii U is going to be left behind again by third parties.

My level of surprise - 0/10.

I love No More Heroes. Another sequel with a bit more polish and HD visuals would be awesome.

Judging by the poll, most people agree. I'm in that category.

If I donate something to be recycled, I would much rather have someone be able to take it and use it for themselves than have the item turned into scrap.

Yeah, saw this on Reddit yesterday. I hope he manages to save it. As someone pointed out in the Reddit comments, reusing an item is the best form of "recycling".

I'll echo what @Geonjaha said. I'm full digital on my PC with a ton of Steam games. But I'm not touching digital retail for consoles or handhelds.

Wow. I have no problem with people criticizing Nintendo. I do it quite a bit myself. But this guy actually comes across as a humongous moron.

My CPP was collecting dust, so any game coming out that takes advantage of it sounds good to me.

Oh it is a great game, I have it on 3DS. But playing any shooter with a controller is just not as fun as it used to be. Wii remote and nunchuk or mouse and keyboard are just superior in every way. Playing with a controller is a huge handicap and it is incredibly archaic in 2013 when other options are perfectly accessible.

That's a shame. And the excuse he gave is a poor one, as people have already pointed out. I wish developers would just be honest and upfront about their decisions.

A new F-Zero would convince me to buy a WiiU. Along with Pikmin 3 of course.

Brawl had the worst online experience ever. Period. End of story.

I do what @Ideal_Hero and @123akis do. I will always look at the score and conclusion. If I'm actually interested in the game then I'll read the review.

Oh I agree that Meat Boy certainly doesn't belong in SSB. That's not the issue. He was clearly joking and I can't believe anyone here took the comment seriously. As @Retro_on_theGo said, people need a sense of humour.
