Can't say that new Mario releases really excite me anymore. I'm more looking forward to the Pokedex 3D update and when North America is getting it.

I have spent too long waiting for Pikmin 3.
I will buy a Wii U specifically for this game (and hopefully a new F-Zero as well).

I just want to see an explorable overworld again, a la Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine.

From what I have played of Maximum Velocity, it isn't so great.
That said, F-Zero GX is one of my favourite games of all time, with some of the tightest controls in video games, period. You literally have to be somewhat of an F-Zero god (which I like to think I am ) to complete a lot of the game though.

I was just playing F-Zero GX a few days ago.
Such a superb, intense and difficult game.
The only thing I have yet to beat is the final story mode chapter on expert

I won't buy one if it's not at least as powerful as an Xbox360 or PS3. Back when the Wii was released, I didn't care too much about graphics or power. Now I have a nice big HD plasma TV and a blu-ray player. Even the best looking Wii games are pretty ugly to be honest.

Super Mario 3D Land just didn't do it for me. Waaaaay too easy.
Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars was a surprisingly great game though.

I literally downloaded Binding of Isaac on Steam two days ago, and I must say it is a fantastic little game. Could have been good on 3DS too.

@warioswoods - Honestly, if a game is great, I couldn't care less who developed it. But to each his own.

I couldn't care less about achievements. They are just a way to artificially extend the length of a game and are completely frivolous.

I was interested in this, but I found the original game and its two expansions for $3.00 online around Christmas. That's enough Roller Coaster Tycoon for me.

I wasn't aware that using AdBlock actually had an effect on revenue brought in from ads, but after a quick google search it seems you are right.
I apologize! I shall not use that blasphemous add-on here!

For people complaining about the ads, you can always use an ad blocker app on your browser. I downloaded AdBlock on Google Chrome and instead of seeing the Tekken ad, there is just glorious, open space.
Overall I like the update. It feels like everything is bigger which is nice. Though I do miss seeing the flags. It no longer feels like I'm at a United Nations conference when I'm reading the comments

It's not as bad as people think. All unlocks, highscores, and skill progressions are permanent. It's not the type of game I'd ever want to restart, though I can see why buying a used copy wouldn't be great...

Fair review... I personally like the game quite a bit. It's simply a portable mercenaries mode with more content.

That kind of sucks. I don't care about deleting highscore data, but what else will this affect? Hopefully everything (upgrades, etc.) can be unlocked in one playthrough.

180 pounds is about $280 dollars Canadian. The 3DS sells for only $250 up here. The world economy is strange...
