I agree with this. The series has to evolve somehow. Try some of the stuff that Sonic & All-Stars tried - different terrain and incorporation of other characters. I also wish that they'd take a look at Diddy Kong Racing because I loved that game. There's definitely some interesting ideas there to explore.

I really liked Goldeneye 007 Wii. It's a sad day whenever a developer with demonstrated talent goes under.

Despite the joke that is the VGAs, I like Spike TV.
If I want to watch something ridiculous and trashy, there's really no better channel.
Where else am I supposed to watch Deadliest Warrior and 1000 Ways to Die?

Nintendo didn't really have that many amazing games this year, so that's not really surprising. The Wii was dead and the WiiU just launched.

Mass Effect Trilogy would be most welcome.

You speak the truth. From my work experience, I can say that I have nothing but respect for workers at "rival companies". I can relate to them. There's sort of a mutual understanding that we are both just doing our jobs. Now I've only worked in the food and service industry, but there's absolutely no reason that it shouldn't apply to the videogame industry.

I don't get why Nintendo doesn't produce its own versions of this type of stuff. I bought a Wii remote charger a few years ago (Nyko I think) but it doesn't work anymore. 3rd party products just aren't as reliable. I'd be willing to pay a bit more for 1st party Nintendo products.

I'd be very surprised if something like this were brought to NA. Not likely at all.

I'd love one, but I doubt I'll have 900 coins by the time they are released. I think I'm sitting around 600 right now.

It isn't really a "review", more of just a look at the potential of the system. I know some sites actually give a numerical score to new systems, which is just silly for the reasons you stated.
I will say that although a system is defined by its games, games in turn are limited by the tech of the system.

Nice review. I'll get one when the bugs are worked out and some worthwhile games are released.

Good review, though I prefer portable Scribblenauts.
If I think of a random ridiculous idea, it's a lot easier to just pull out my 3DS and go to work than it is to power up a console.

Framerate and graphics are important. A bit of gamepad functionality doesn't even come close to making up for deficiencies in other areas.

And I do hope Reggie is right. But I haven't yet heard any reviewers say that the WiiU versions of the multiplatform games look better than their counterparts.

Black Ops 2 certainly isn't better on the WiiU.

I hope this is just a case of bad porting. I am worried about the WIiU capabilities. If it really isn't as powerful as the PS3 or 360, I may not end up getting a WiiU after all.

Great review. Good to see that there are plenty of reviewers that actually appreciate the game. When I get a WiiU I'll definitely be picking this up.
