It's actually pretty decent, but with a slight learning curve. There's a demo of it on Steam, and from what I can tell, It's got a lot going for it.
The life(collect 3 things to increase maximum) and augment system(parts that take up certain space on your augment gauge) in it is very similar to Hollow Knight, as well as the difficulty.
You start with a VERY limited range gun, but you can customize it with parts that you purchase from a vendor.
The money used to purchase can be collected from enemies as well as some flora and fauna.
The demo is from late 2022, so there might be some changes on the final release next month.
It looks interesting to say the least. It's got a lot of good reviews on Steam, but that price point($30, but $26.99 for launch) is kinda off-putting. Plus, I'm not a fan of survival games, especially when it gets to the point where you get more monster attacks than things you can forage.
I have a slight feeling it won't be called "Prime 4", but "Prime Something Else". I think the average dev cycle nowadays is, what 4 to 5 years? 2 1/2 have already passed so I'm hoping to see SOMETHING either at year's end or early next year.
This reminds me of AM2R, except he was able to complete his project AND get hired to Moon Studios to help create Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Speaking of which, does Nintendo of America even MAKE games anymore? Because, to me, they look like nothing but an oversized translation company.
This game is GOOOOOOOD! I love it! Music's great, the sprite graphics got an AWESOME upgrade, AND the game utilizes the whole 16:9 ratio of the screen! And the bosses ARE challenging!
I will get one in April of next year. It seems like a really promising device and the fact that you will already have games on it with Steam will be awesome. The icing on the cake is to be able to play certain "games" on it that are DEFINITELY exclusive for PC. And I don't mean emulation or keyboard/mouse games.
@Azuris I've been seeing a LOT of that as well and with gaming being as high-def as it is with 60fps being the norm, it amazes and confuses me to see over-glorified anime-inspired shows with frame rates between 15-25fps.
I know it's done mostly by computer nowadays, but why not flex the gpu and processing power?
I know the guy that's part of the publisher for this and it's legit. It's with EastAsiaSoft, the group that brought us Crawlco Block Knockers, which, by the way has a BANGER soundtrack!

REALLY good fetch quest game! Even better on PC!
Re: Fan-Made 'Link's Awakening DX HD' Port Taken Down By Nintendo
It could use a few tweaks, but it was pretty good. Sometimes your sword attacks didn't register, though.
What I really liked is that a lot of the transitions were REALLY quick!
Re: Video: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Side-By-Side Comparison (Switch & GameCube)
I'm liking it, but that framerate though. I'm hoping it's just the video and it's as smooth as the original.
