Big=Sexy, I totally agree with you on the fact that we're paying more for less on the VC. I mean, look at all the content you get in Sonic Mega Collection (Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic Spinball, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine to name a few) and if you were to buy them individually, it'd cost you over 30£ easily!
I think that this is a lazy attempt at satisfying Virtual Console consumers. I've got Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii, granted, the controls aren't the best, but it's still cheaper than buying this stuff individually (Sonic Megacollection for 15£ when you can't even download Sonic 1, 2, and 3 for the amount on the VC).
Happy Thanksgiving 1 day late. I was working and my family celebrated it without me since I'm in England. I think that Nintendo needs to release Marble Madness, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Secret of Mana. I never played Secret of Mana and I'm definitely picking that one up.
DSi needs to incorporate the usage of Virtual Console games, via SD card. Download Super Ghouls N Ghosts? Why not play it on the travel too? DSi would be the perfect opportunity to do so...if only they'd emulate all games on it...if they did, I'd buy it instantly.
Right...sounds kinda shady to me... I'm going to have to pass on this. I did just order a wireless nunchuk so I'll judge that (if only Nintendo made wireless Nunchuks)....
I have been playing Mega Man 2 on the Anniversary collection (using my freeloader and Gamecube controller) but the thing I don't like is the analog stick and the D-Pad on the Cube controller is uncomfortable after long periods of playing. I guess I'm oldschool in the fact that I liked games without the analog stick and the Mega Man games shine better to me without the analog stick...Thank you to BetaGam (55) for the recommendation, I am going to look into that now.
I do have one recommendation to say... If you're going to play any Mega Man games on the Wii, download them from the Virtual Console because playing Mega Man with a freakin' Gamecube controller really sucks...Sure, the turbo button sure is great for the initial bosses, but some of those technical jumps are so insanely hard with the Cube controller.
Corbie, you inspired me to download DoReMi and I must say, it's well worth the 900 points it cost to get it. The graphics are cutesy and it doesn't actually take away from the gameplay at all. The game is rather enjoyable and the only part I don't like about the game is not being able to read those things in Japanese, then again, who needs to read to play a great game?
Corbie, excellent list. You've inspired me on what games I should download soon. I do agree that Mystical Ninja is mindboggling addicting for some strange reason and Neutopia is brilliant beyond words. Your list is not my top favorites, however, I do think they're good in their way you've shown. And why do people not care about Zombies Ate My Neighbors? lol
lol Virtual Boy...the old days... I think that they seriously need Gameboy and Gameboy Color games on the Wii since nobody owns a GBA anymore...everyone's got a DS or DS Lite.
I was waiting for this game for a long time...Mario RPG is just a bonus. I'm glad the Lost Levels came back as I got my Wii in Christmas 2007 and missed it first chance around! Yay! And DoReMi is brilliant, it's one of those games you must get.
I haven't posted in ages but I thought I'd add my two cents to this joker's comments.
I think he's from the N64 era and doesn't know about Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Earth Bound, and other great games. Now, I know you guys were waiting for those games to be mentioned, but I don't disappoint. Where's Zombies Ate My Neighbors? Or Klax? How about Earthworm Jim? The Nightmare On Elm Street game? ....Dare I say Superman 64? lol... They need Game Boy games on the Virtual Console. I'd definitely buy Metroid II and Super Mario Land 1 & 2.
If you're waiting for Majora's Mask people, buy the Zelda Collector's Edition like I got for FREE from Nintendo for REGISTERING my games when I had the Gamecube originally. The only thing I can say about your release in America is that at least you got one game. The world would've ended if you got none.
Hey admins, can we have a vote for your game of choice to come out type thing? Or make a single nomination or whatever? I'd like to see what people pick that isn't Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, or Chrono Trigger. Personally, I think we need to see people get into games like Zombies Ate My Neighbors or Earthworm Jim or even Tiny Toon Adventures. Things like that always make me more interested in games. All this hype people are feeling over Mario RPG is making me want to download it less and less because I know how popular it is now... By the way, the Block Breaker game for the WiiWare is not that bad. It's quite a challenge in some of the difficult levels!
I think we should petition for Superman 64, give these people something really big to whine about. You think Dig Dug is terrible? You think that the movie The Happening was awful? Superman 64 is like a scared movie/game mixed into one, and if you download it...you just wasted 1000 points (if they release it at 1000 points, they're having a laugh).
And said games, I want Zombies Ate My Neighbors, it's hilarious.

Re: Mana From Heaven For RPG Fans On Boxing Day In Europe
No Bass, it's completely acceptable for them not to tell us we're getting an additional two games. I'll find out in an hour and 29 minutes or so.
Re: Mana From Heaven For RPG Fans On Boxing Day In Europe
It's officially on the Club Nintendo website so it must be true.
Re: USA VC Update: Phantasy Star IV
Metal Man = ownage
Re: Mana From Heaven For RPG Fans On Boxing Day In Europe
@55 : I agree, A Link To The Past is the best Zelda game. Ocarina of Time was over-hyped for me.

About time is all I can say.

That'll be interesting...
Re: Hands on with SnakeByte's XS Starter Pack
Anyone living the UK could do what I did easily, buy your Wii-motes and Nunchuks from America. Easy.
Re: USA VC Update: Metal Slug 2
I'm still waiting on several games but I'm just hoping Nintendo utilizes Gameboy and Gameboy Colour games for it.

Re: Hori Announces New Classic Controller For Japan
....Super Nintendo had the best controller feel in my opinion... The N64 only felt right on two games, Conker's Bad Fur Day and 007 Goldeneye.

Also, Nintendo will release Super Mario RPG in Europe shortly, they'll probably do it on July 4th just to spite American's.
