I'm looking forward to Lit being released here in the UK. I'm also looking forward to a few other games for the Wii and finally, we can pre-order Professor Layton's 2nd DS game.
You know what the best type of zombie game would be? It'd be giving you a limited number of weapons and ammo for them and giving you unlimited zombie-esque type enemies to fight. The object would be to survive as long as possible with an on screen timer on the top right of the screen. You'd have objectives on time limits to determine how much ammo and what kind of weapons you start with in the next level (provided you meet the requirement of survival for x amount of minutes). I think it'd be good...it should be called...Survivor : Zombie Edition. (Joking)
@24: Yes, requiem, I think HVS is throwing out all the stops for their support for the Wii and that's what the system needs. More developers showing more focused interest on the console. To be honest, I want this game more than The Conduit, although I will probably get both.
On a side note, I just should point this out : I registered Gamecube games a long time ago on the website, and one day I received a package in the mail from Nintendo. It contained The Legend of Zelda : Collector's Edition gamecube game. I didn't know what the hell it was but it's rather rare and apparently if you had 3 games registered online, you were sent one.
That's so stupid. In Europe, we can trade our star points for Wii Points and buy more VC and Wii Ware games. I just helped my brother register on Club Nintendo here in Iowa, and he can't get anything good for registering 7 games! How pathetic is that? (Temporarily in the U.S. on vacation!)
Oh, I thought I'd mention, while I'm in the U.S. and all, I think you guys are getting screwed on the price of Wii games compared to European games. I mean, if I wait one month after a game's release date, that game tends to drop in price rather quickly in Europe. Mario Galaxy is still 50 dollars? In Europe, Mario Galaxy was like, 24 pounds, which is actually cheaper than 50 dollars with the current exchange rate.
To be honest, this game looks amazing. I just recently revisited Resident Evil Gamecube version and it's still as terrifying running out of ammo as usual. I still completed the game luckily in 3 hours 48 minutes on a first go in a long long time. And you can't call RE Gamecube game a revision only on graphics. The original never featured Lisa Trevor or the creepy woodslands or Crimson Head zombies, which are utterly terrifying. All in all, RE Gamecube features many pluses the original couldn't support. The only downside is that multiplayer is still not utilized in the great way that it should be.
Umm...House of the Dead and Madworld were failures? I feel like epic failure now is that's the case. Whoever thought that those games were awful, they should be shot.
Yeah, it does look nice. I'm now reading about A Boy & His Blob coming to the Wii. The graphics look amazing and it's supposed to be an actual Wii title, not Wii-Ware or VC that I can see. Apparently it's listed ETA is Autumn 2009 in EU.
New : Forgot to mention that they're talking about making a remake of a remake...Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1 (both remade for the Gamecube) to be possibly remade for the Wii with updated controls, no news yet on camera angle going to over the shoulder or not though.
It's a direct sequel to the game Resident Evil : The Umbrella Chronicles. It's in the new Nintendo Magazine in the UK. Also, it's supposed to cover the events from Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield in Resident Evil 2 (and according to the magazine, they're hoping it covers Resident Evil Code Veronica as well). This game will feature mostly what happened to those two and will also involve Chris Redfield as well before the last missions from Umbrella Chronicles. It's also said this game will not have a on-rails feel like the previous game did, so when you are running, the camera view is actually from the character's perspective. I'm not sure how this will work in two player mode but it's looking pretty sweet. And it's going to be a pain in the ass running and gunning if your screen is changing due to running....And this game is more of a focus on teamwork than anything else. I can see them adding Ada Wong into this game somewhere as well...
To be honest though, Dan Ackroyd wasn't my favourite in the group. I always liked Bill Murray in the films because he was always kind of a dick to police officers...guess it's just my humour. I noticed no Easter love from Nintendo here in Europe... I was kind of hoping for a bunny-esque adventure, such as Tiny Toon Adventures...lol...or a Bugs Bunny title.
Sadness looked promising...wasn't it the game in black and white where you used the Wii Remote for everything, including to see during a rainstorm by holding up the umbrella?

Re: Shia LaBeouf Disses the Wii
I think this is overrated that he's insulted the Wii. His loss.

Re: Nintendo Download: Super Smash Bros., Cocoto, Asphalt and Sudoku (EU)
Super Smash Bros isn't that great after you've played the newer ones.
Re: E3: New Wii Mario Game In The Works?
I tried to keep my eyes peeled but it hurt when the eyelid almost came off.
Re: Mega Man Meets Super Paper Mario
Brilliant.
Re: Alien Havoc Coming to DSiWare
Too bad I'm not interested in DSiWare....just not a good enough reason for me to own a 4th DS.
Re: The NintendoPhone: Not Happening, Says Reggie
Yes, Token, Reggie denied it so must be true. lol
Re: The NintendoPhone: Not Happening, Says Reggie
That's obvious.
Re: Dead Space Prequel Close To Finished
First. Cool!
Edit : Hell yes. This game will rock.
Any word on when Resident Evil : Darkside Chronicles will be coming?

This is lame.
Re: WiiWare Poker Game Too Sexy For Australia
Australia is getting the bad end of the deal, just move to a country that doesn't have such strict gaming rules.

Re: The Munchables Ships to Retailers
The pictures alone caught my attention and I don't even know what the game is about yet. I'll check it out if it comes to Europe.

Zombies, werewolves, and vampires...count me in.

Both those games were given a 1...
Re: Hackers Expand Wii Storage, Door Now Open To Filthy Pirates
Why be a pirate in Europe when the games get so freakin' cheap after a month they come out?
Re: Nintendo Download: Popstars, WiiWare Remakes and Clay Fighting (US)
I noticed there are fewer and fewer weeks of European news releases on here. Are you guys steering towards NA and Japan releases only?
Re: Nintendo Ranks 2nd on Develop 100 List
That's sad...honestly I thought that WoW wouldn't bump up Blizzard. It should've been D3 making them rise.
Re: Review: Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure! (WiiWare)
And my wife wanted to get this in hopes of it being like the original...maybe I'll just get her the original.
Re: Little Mac in live-action Punch-Out!! commercial
Cool promo.
Re: NSFW: Fan-made Muramasa Artwork Shows Plenty of Crack
This is nothing. Showing a bit of bum is not bad at all.
Re: Gun-shaped Wiimote Announced
The shotgun is the only one worth getting. The Handcannon from House of the Dead Overkill just sucks. I only own the Nyko Perfect Shot which is sexy.
Re: New Copy Of Earthbound Sells For Over $1000 On eBay
I hope they release it on Virtual Console just to add insult to this.

Re: Review: Galaxy Force II (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
I'm honestly sick of shooters and not surprised this got a 4/10 when there are so many better substitutes for the genre.

I'd never use it either...

Re: Wii to increase by £20 in UK?
Sean, check Amazon to see what I'm talking about. It's ridiculous.
Re: Next DS to Have Mobile Phone Capabilities?
That sucks. I'm hoping that Nintendo realises that'd be a bad idea.
Re: Wii to increase by £20 in UK?
Don't forget to mention Wii Points going up in price!
Re: Nintendo Download: Mixed Messages, Pitfalls, Magic Tricks and Pirates (US)
On a side note : Did Nintendo Wii Points go up in price? Because Amazon is selling them for £17.99 for 2000 points...any help with this?
Re: Nintendo Download: Mixed Messages, Pitfalls, Magic Tricks and Pirates (US)
Lol @ no Majora's Mask...just think guys, Nintendo must be saving it for Christmas....

I hope this comes to Europe at least.
