I actually understood why Nintendo wanted people to wait 9 days. It is because everyone now that has access to most items, and they overflood all the courses with tons of items, and spam the whole course with enemies, notes, etc, alike... for some reason, those guys get the highest scores. It is rare to see courses that are similar to traditional nintendo approaches. It does not bother me that some people spam and overflood maps with all kinds of items, what bothers me is that like 4/5 people do it...
Something that bothers me is the fact that most courses are all packed and crammed with all kinds of things, which make the original super mario experience vanish. Sure, there are some unique courses, but pretty much like 4 out of 5 courses, are the opposite of traditional approaches to super mario courses. I remember super mario for super nintendo back in the days, the level design etc, was amazing, but what appears to be popular now, is the opposite.
region locking is punitive for expatriates. They force people to buy the same console twice, no thx, I would rather have the local game stores of the new target country unblock my device for a few bucks and make it region free.
make 32 GB in hardware where actually 1 TB can easily fit, then start promoting more and more games on Eshop ?? Reversed Engineering in effect or what?
well so far only one title is an exclusive, Xenoblade chronicles. Sure, I got 155 hrs on it and this is one of my top 5 best games I ever played, and I love it. But still, it is the only title so far and soon the console reaches 1 year of age.
@Ayronom let's not even start... you guys have all the good stuff in the virtual console. I had to buy a original nintendo and their games to play it over again, and you got no idea how bad those screens are for your eyes....
I think 100-200 hrs of gameplay is perfect. I remember putting 160 hours into xenoblade chronicles 3ds, I mean, I absolutely adored the game, and at around 130 hours, I was starting to actually want the game to end It has to end sometime, so we can spend our little time we have also on other games. I am now enjoying Attack on Titan Humanity in Chains immensely despite its rather negative metacritic, because people were too busy writing reviews instead of unlocking world mode, and start doing level 10 missions upwards alone or in co-op.
Nintendo makes a unique gaming platform, it has 0 competition in that regard, 0!!!!!!! So why should it now compete with Sony and Micro$oft? The game platform is different! Nintendo does it right.
with people buying used tampons and pizzas that have burn marks in the form of Jesus Christ's face, it obviously doesn't surprise anyone if this gets sold too.
I have no idea about this game, nor what is going on with it, but it is now officially my most anticipated game next to Attack on Titan that finally comes out in 6 hours and 55 minutes here in 3rd world europe.
speaking of eshop, why has nintendo life not yet announced that attack on titan humanity in chains will now finally also be available in Europe and Australia?
I am still getting a Wii U just to play xenoblade chronicles X, Zelda and StarFox. Nintendo once again, very smart....if they would only tell now if you can play Wii U games on the NX, then I might wait for that to come out instead.
sigh.... again, there are no rare amiibos. Open google, browser for a Japanese amiibo retailer (find and select to view the page in English). Choose your amiibo, (with the weak yen you are up for a good bargain), pay your additional 10 bucks for expedited insured shipping (comes still much cheaper than buying it from Amazon of people that do exactly what I mentioned above), and you will have your "rare" amiibo in notime, lol. Every single amiibo that is considered "rare", I got it myself, spending max, 25 bucks with insured shipping incl. sent to me from the great empire of Japan. There are no rare amiibos, there are only simpletons that call them rare when they don't know how to find them.
There are two problems with Amiibo. 1. They are sold way too cheap. If their prices would be tripled, there would be less problems regarding stock. Because people already complain these days about traders that get them for cheap and then sell them for 3x more on Amazon. 2. People are simpletons. As of now, you can all get Ganondorf amiibo in about 50+ different Japanese websites (with english translation). You then opt for EMS expedited shipping, ok, costs you an additional 10 bucks, but with the weak Japanese Yen, you can get Ganondorf for 10 bucks. So a total of 20 bucks for Ganondorf that they have an unlimited supply of stock of over there, is worth it if you can wait 10 days for insured shipping. Again, simpletons are unable in these days to open google, browse some amiibo retailers in Japan, selecting to display the page in English and making the orders from there. Let alone people have no idea about currency. All just yap about when it arrives in their location and then all do the same thing, they panic order like crazy and get upset when there is none left, where as in Japan the amiibos that go for 100 usd on amazon you can get for 20 bucks with insured shipping included.
I downloaded it, played for a few hours, then I went ahead "F..ck it, let me try advanced, lvl 30" and I swear to you guys, I beat it first try! I beat the hardest level first try, but I am stuck with lvl 18 of standard mode, hah.
I bought a gameboy pocket, gold, originally packed (never opened), for 300 USD on ebay, only so that I can play tetris, nintendo world cup and dr. mario again Two of these games are not on nintendo 3ds shop. Call me crazy, but I love Nintendo and I love you people for supporting it.
man, I wish nintendo would make the original Nintendo World Cup soccer game available in the virtual console store here in Europe. I heard it is available in the US. This game reminded me of the good old days
