You can dump roms and write them on a cartridge if it isn't read-only. Meaning that most bootleg cartridges should be rewritable.

You misunderstood. The software tells you if a cartridge is official or not only as an indication, it doesn't prevent you from playing anything.

@Splodge The creator addressed some of your points on the Kickstarter page. This new release will:

• Have a save function ("You can save and load your game")
• "Improve cartridge quality: The quality of the cartridge has been improved considerably."
• "Improve the cardboard box and the instruction booklet: Higher quality."

Now I'm gonna watch the vid you linked to see if I should support this Kickstarter or not, thanks

Oh come on. Of all the 3D Mario games Galaxy 2 is by far the most forgettable.

I don't mind people enjoying it, but calling it "Nintendo's greatest sequel" is a Grand Canon-sized stretch when we also have the Mario Bros series, the Metroid series, Majora's Mask, etc.

This seems awful and pretty out of place to me. This game doesn't know what it wants to be.

@BrintaPap Apple could get out of this by allowing people to directly install .ipa files on their devices, so devs don't have to use the Apple Store.

Apple would disable it by default and hide the option behind a couple of scary warnings, and they'd be good. Or do like Android and make you skim blindly through your settings to find where they've hidden the option to install .apk from the web in this version.

Because that is what happened with Microsoft and IE, nothing else. My point being, Epic will lose this one because they're greedy *****, but yes, a case can be made against Apple and their monopoly on apps.

One of the greatest Wii games, so I'm obviously game for more.

The Split Pad Pro is still the best thing ever. The black Pikachu variant is looking really good.

I like how their wireless Horipad looks too, but a rumble feature is really missing, I think.

Somehow it looks bigger than my 8BitDo SF30 Pro.

Anyway, I'm liking it a lot! Haven't enjoyed a monster taming game that much since Emerald. The difficulty spike is really welcome.

@TG16_IS_BAE Animal Crossing (N64 & GC) had a bunch of NES games unlockable, too. But they were tiny stuff.
But as you said, having Galaxy 2 as an unlockable would be huge. Too huge to be true, I think.

Extinction isn't a port, it was built from the ground up for PC and consoles. Some are actually bitching because it isn't available on mobile.

Nexomon is a mobile game that got ported to Steam. Nexomon: Extinction is the next entry in the series.

I clicked with high hopes, expecting a Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed port announcement packaged with the first entry or TSR. But no...

I need Transformed on my Switch, darn it!

"Nexomon" has a MTX plagued version for iOS/Android and a desktop version with none of that crap on Steam.

My (cheap) hidden gem ATM is "Rage in Peace". A moving experience disguised as a rage game (with lots of checkpoints, mind you.)

Its soundtrack is fantastic, too. For less than 5€ it's well worth it IMO.

PS: If someone at Nintendo Life could review it, that'd be neat. I feel like other reviewers never got past the second level.
