I thought these would just be something in my happier dreams. If I could go to and fro in a skybucket I know for a fact my life would be more full and happy. Thanks for the info!
@Slowdive There should be a way to compare and contrast - besides the fake "carbon neutral" thing companies are buying into now. Sadly, t won't happen company's must confuse the public to create.
@Silly_G Here in the States at least - that is pop music. The chart is arbitrary. Everyone gets a shot in order to promote new songs. If you listen to any Top 40 station across the country they are playing songs from 3, 4,5 or more years ago in regular rotation. They have introduced "throwback" hits from decades ago to fill the void on no new music. At first it might have been a song every two hours or so now the hour blocks are littered with 80s, 90s,etc hits.
Older people always complain the state of music in any given era - but if you really look at it now there is absolutely nothing going on. Looks at decades past. Some of the biggest, most known hits of all time never made number 1. The airwaves were littered with hit after hit after hit.
Now we are still listening to Old Town Road on the radio/games/etc. Christ. Kate Bush just charted likely higher than she ever did when her 80s songs were current. That's how bad music is today. People are so hard up for new music they will take a [fantastic] song from 4 decades ago.
@Slowdive While you make a strong point - how many liters of water/units of electricity does it take to manufacture, ship and sell 100s of 1000s of physical video games vs. housing them in a data center?
I think I'm going to offer kids either or. Candy or the cards. Although now live down a super spooky wooded driveway. I doubt kids have the guts to come down to the house. smart move on their part.
@Spoony_Tech I grab them once the season starts - at that point they always go for less than 20bucks and I feel it is still a current roster. I enjoy opening the free gacha packs and seeing if you get some mega card people might want.
Awesome. I hope they hire talented Pokemaniacs keeping those same goals in mind.
25M is nice but nothing beats seeing one of the most popular kids brands that exists today with a bunch of skin tints and abilities. Game Freak seems to do well with this over the years.
@AstraeaV I dont think there is any other way to design this game. The game is about Kirby not Bandana. The focus has to be on him so if the boss is running away from Kirb then it ruins the hero's perspective.
Kirby is ultra-casual. No one but a goon really cares that you can easily kite with Kirby and stab away with Bandana. It great for kids. Mine naturally kite all day - they have trouble beating the trickier bosses otherwise. They never dont play co-op and they have close to 40 hours in the game (they pkay the same levels over and over again). They adore this game more than any other since Animal Crossing.
I'm not sure - the last one was over 41MB - only MH Sunbreak comes close and thats still half the size of Nba.
I've been leaning towards buying a PS or Xbox this holiday - I've all but decided to buy it on one of those. By the time I do the game will be discounted 60% or more.
Thats the thing with this series - They give away the razor to sell you the blades. They will be releasing every holiday version of MJ - trying to grab the fanatic who thinks they need them all.
This had better not slow down my gd keychain order. I used 800 platinum points on the thing. Get that skin graft on and get it in the mail daddi needs his starfox baubles.
I'm a huge NBA fan and I like Nba2k... but the file size is so huge - I found the game experience more about transferring files around to make it work.
A good example of a series probably best played elsewhere.
I noticed the game last night - on the NA download only sales chart its number 2. Pretty good for a game that is expensive and doesn't even have a video to accompany it.
I passed because of the lack of video. I usually won't biy any game without one. I either consider it lazy, cheap or indicative of it being a bad game. Personal choice.
@Truegamer79 that is because Sony is struggling mightily to sell games right now. Their ass is being handed to them. It would be almost impossible to screw up the ps5 any worse.
No they won't. Nintendo has distinguished themselves as the premium console brand this gen. They are the only console developer that makes exclusives on a regular basis that anyone talks about. Their evergreen titles NEVER leave the 10 sales lists.
A company leader job is to maximize profits for their shareholders. If Nintendo did not do this the CEO would be ignoring his job for the passions of a minority - people no one really listens to.
@ModdedInkling the Steam deck is going to sell about as well as Steam's other forays into the tv/handheld market. They get inital massive buzz - then complete radio silence. No one outside of hardcore pc users cares. For all the Money they make, they are the worst marketers in gaming.
I really wish they made made the better looking clothes for kids. Especially the official store. I dont understand why they don't. Just leaving the cheap, mass-market junk for them - the series biggest fans.
@bubicus that would take development time away from the ever-present "lonely gamer dating sim" though. I say giving gifts of the fruit of your labor to swap spit is just as, or more important, on a farm as watering plants is.
after all, ones loins need watering just as plants do.
and dont you have drones for that busy work anyhow?
Ahhhhh the simple life. Fresh milk. Working on the old tractor. The morning dew catching the first rays of the sun's blessings. And of course automation with AI controlled strike drones.
@dkxcalibur I quit halfway through the second game. Right when yij come up on the beach. The repeated assets bugged me and I realize most of the gameplay was looting boxes.
After watching the entire direct last night I'm pretty stoked. It looks like there is so much to do. Like a more colorful Monster Hunter with vs combat being focus over co-op. My fall game for sure! (I'm not forgetting you my dearest Pokemon)
@Silly_G They kind of tried it before. A decade or so MS had Xbox Live Arcade on the 360. It failed miserably.
It might not do so bad today. There seems to be a much stronger appetite for retro gaming these days - due to the junk put out and lack of developer creativity/talent. But companies seem content putting out compilations of back catalogs.
@Silly_G fyi - major companies of classic IPa, most still in play today, would never give a developer like this permission to use their games. Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony? Sure. Not Nosebleed Interactive.

It has always been this way. Since the EGM days. Ever asked yourself why? I mean...I know why. but does everyone else?

I'm trying no find a new weapon in Rise. I"ve never once done a mission with ranged weapons. Or maybe the Switch Axe.
The kids and I have been watching a lot of Pokemon TV lately. Season 2 is solid and some of the poketoons were cute.
I feel like doing the last quest in Arceus too.
