I really wish Rare could develop for Nintendo again. I'm not sure how many here have played it - but Sea of Thieves is as objectively good as anything they have ever done. They are MSs best acquisition imho.

They wiuldnt give us the Kirby cup because we didnt order a large (my kid is 5 I'm not cracking them out with 4lbs of sugar). The flavor was a regular flavor with a stupid Kirby themes name. Gamescon really has been a non-event. I feel bad for developers that spent any money promoting their products. Money better spent hiring a streamer or something to act like they enjoy your game.

If it is not it can be cumbersome. That is how Xenoblades was for me. But for this and Sunbreak I was into it. shrug

@Eeros I cant speak for anyone but me - for me making the claim that you withheld money, or stole money or are using someone's ethnic background for a paycheck is a very bold one. Two different beats imho. Disgaea has goofy and fun stories, awesome characters, over-the-top special moves and infinite powering up. I'm into. You may be.

I'm about 110 hours in D5 - Which I might have paid 10 bucks for on the eshop. That comes out to about .003 pesos per minute. Good deal.

I'd buy that game for free. This stuff is the type of project that should help you graduate from college. Even then I'd give the kid a B -.

I got a ridiculous Samsung OLED tv - so games on the switch that showcase that. Kart 8, Mh Sunbreak...so far they look fantastic.

That is an insta-nope for me. Taking out in game unlocks to sell months before the game even releases? Never.

Sega sure as heck doesn't warrant that leeway. They are one of the worst developers currently still coding. No talent hacks.

A small town with an unfolding mystery sounds like anything. That sounds very little like Twin Peaks so far - and Twin Peaks is not a Netflix show.

TP has more nuance and miles
more depth than a small town mystery. You'll have to do much better to use the comparison. Or I will publicly mock you with more knowledge about that particular program than any person has a right to know.

That is the picture of bloat. They own so much nothing gets made and when it does - it barely surpasses shovelware.

Let me put this in the game review reverse algorithm. Divide by 6, carry the 2 put it in the recycling machine and viola - the game is average. If it was a school grade between 60 and 70%.

@Vix In the US anti-trust regulation has been virtually non-existent for 3 decades minimum. And they have no idea what to do with gaming. Most of the old men in regulatory suits still think of it as a kid's pasttime - not the insidious data collection agent it actually is.

@Silly_G Japan used to be legendary for their ability and obsession with packaging. There used to be numerous business articles on it decades ago. I'd argue all of Apple's packaging was influenced by Japanese packing 15-20 years ago. In Europe/US good looking packaging is common today; but this was not the case 2 decades ago.

It was an era of more is more...like unwrapping a present. Where the unwrapping was just as enjoyable as the present itself. Much less of a concern today; if not detrimental. A shift so to speak.
