Developer Ravenscourt has today announced that the latest addition in their karaoke series, Let's Sing 2023, will be coming back to Switch. The first teaser trailer can be found above, and while it provides no release date just yet, it does tease some of the artists and 30 songs that you will be able to find on the game.
Listing off some classic karaoke artists such as Avril Lavigne ("Complicated", of course), Ed Sheeran ("Bad Habits"), and Jason Derulo ("Acapulco") alongside modern-day pop royalty including Billie Eilish ("Happier Than Ever") and Lil Nas X (Old Town Road), the playlist is sure to have us reaching for the high notes — we've got form when it comes to Lavigne. “Your Song” by Rita Ora and Charlie Puth's “How Long?” will also feature.

The previous games in the series have provided a blend of contemporary music with classics, so we can expect to see a whole different era represented in the 'many more' promise at the end of the trailer's teased artists. We've got our hands up for some Ottawan over here.
Tweeting the trailer earlier today, Let's Sing announced that the game will have a stand at Gamescom, where we can presumably expect information on more artists and potentially a release date. Going by the release of the game's two predecessors, we imagine a release at some point in November.

Absolutely terrible. Let's Sing 2022 was bad enough and I won't be coming back for seconds. My cousin who also recently bought 2022 agreed and said that it was such a massive step down from the karaoke games from years gone by like Singstar and Lips on rival hardware, and the relatively no-frills We Sing and U-Sing games on Wii.
And don't get me started on the fact that a third of the songs (which are also advertised on the packaging) aren't even on the cart! Instead included in the form of a one-time use eShop code. As much as I absolutely detest mandatory downloads, I'd rather have that over account-locked DLC that can't be backed up. Isn't "modern" gaming grand? 🙄
Let's Sing ABBA is also coming out later this year though, so I guess there is a silver lining for karaoke enthusiasts.
Who’d choose Billie Eilish songs for karaoke? They’re all slow and depressing.
❓️What's a "Billie Eilish"?
And I prefer the original 'Nas'.
Fingers crossed for some Napalm Death.
@Silly_G Here in the States at least - that is pop music. The chart is arbitrary. Everyone gets a shot in order to promote new songs. If you listen to any Top 40 station across the country they are playing songs from 3, 4,5 or more years ago in regular rotation. They have introduced "throwback" hits from decades ago to fill the void on no new music. At first it might have been a song every two hours or so now the hour blocks are littered with 80s, 90s,etc hits.
Older people always complain the state of music in any given era - but if you really look at it now there is absolutely nothing going on. Looks at decades past. Some of the biggest, most known hits of all time never made number 1. The airwaves were littered with hit after hit after hit.
Now we are still listening to Old Town Road on the radio/games/etc. Christ. Kate Bush just charted likely higher than she ever did when her 80s songs were current. That's how bad music is today. People are so hard up for new music they will take a [fantastic] song from 4 decades ago.
@nessisonett https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QecjqsvpMDI here, my favorite Napalm Death song in karaoke form.
We are all gatekeepers of art on this glorious day! Let’s fill the feed with sardonic “who?” Instead of supporting artists who appeal to people with different tastes.
But seriously, why do people get so tribal over video games, music, sports, etc. Let people like what they like.
Mumble, mumble, mumble, uhh, mumble, mumble, yeah
Not much news to work with lately. It's gonna be a slow week
@Sonos
There is lots of good music out, but most of it is underground or lesser-known. Though, I think there are a few exceptions - I really like Lady Gaga and Lizzo, and a few others. Thundercat is good. There are lots of good metal, rock and electronic acts out there, but they likely won't be on Sing.
And yes, older people do complain a lot about music. I'm one of them. Friends tell me I'm stuck in the 80's and 90's, though not always the case, it's often true.
Regardless, I wouldn't be buying a game like this. The developer and publisher probably already know who their audience is, and will likely sell a decent amount.
Billie eilish doesn't sing she mumbles lol
The only singing game I can remember playing was one of the singstars with Avril Lavigne skater boy lol good times
