B-b-but the people on Reddit told me the Switch 2 marked the downfall of humanity! This has to be Nintendo bribing Famitsu to make it look like they’re doing better!!!1!

Went to see it in 3D and it was great! A definite improvement over the original, but still with some issues such as the pacing. I give it an 8.5 out of 10

I think a price hike is inevitable, but I think they’re going to hold on until the switch 2 lite is out before they do it

@HugoGED mine never asked for any personal details or anything, I just pushed it and it started game chat

@Sindayl you can full screen your game, and only 4 people can share cameras so it doesn’t get hideously laggy for everyone

I completely agree with the switch 2 and steamdeck pairing! I probably won’t get a deck, but since the steam frame plays 3d and flatscreen games, I’m hopefully going to get one when it releases (mostly for no mans sky vr)

I’m getting leafgreen on switch 2 and my mums getting firered on switch lite, really excited for this release as I now don’t have to spend £80-£130 getting the gba version for ds. With my switch 2 and 3ds I can play every Pokemon gen now, so I’ll have to start looking for heartgold or soulsilver next!

I picked the game up again the same day the update came out, didn’t even know about it until I went to turn the game on!

I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never heard of this game, and I’m gonna be honest-er, when I saw the picture, I thought I had.
Gamefreak should go for more stylistic games, imagine a Pokemon game in the style of the anime- it would be great, and they wouldn’t have to worry as much about stuff like 3d windows, everything would be 2d textures, and it’d look great!

They need to release the switch 2 lite before any price hikes, and they should do a switch 1 sale for all the consoles and accessories and everything to really push people onto their consoles, once they have this bunch of users they can try pushing them all onto switch 2s. We’ve seen the ps6 being delayed until 2030 and the new Xbox and steam hardware and expected to be more expensive, so a roughly £600-£650 Switch 2 OLED/pro with specs that push past current competition could either dominate the market for a few years or pressure the release of unfinished consoles from other companies (not that Microsoft is able to release anything finished in the first place)
I may be completely wrong, and that idea may have a whole lot of holes in it, but I think if they do it well it could set them up to dominate the next generation of consoles
