Re: Senior EA Employee Caught Out Criticising Wii U On Twitter

Sinister

Well if he thinks Nintendo Consoles are crap thats fine.
I think Origin is the biggest piece of poop ever created. Tbh even viruses and other malware is better than that.

And Origin is the sole reason why EA is so pissed right now. They wanted to push Origin on the WiiU but Nintendo said "Hell no!".
After that the unprecedented partnership ended.

Re: Europe Now Receiving Club Nintendo Stars For All eShop Downloads

Sinister

Looks like there are no survey and stars for 3DS VC titles.

What i don't understand is why some VC games don't even show up.
Non of the Ambassador games is are even listed on my account. Same for Zelda 4 Swords. But free games and apps like Eurosport or Excite Bike 3D Classic are.
Just strange.

I could get 2300 Stars right now. But what should is pend them on? The only intesrting stuff is at 7000 Stars. Nintendo had some very nice offers in the past.
I got some Hanafuda Play Cards, a Wii Towel, the Legend of Zelda Collection for Wii and then i spend 2800 Stars on Wii Points (otherwise i would have just lost them). I even lost 150 Stars because there was nothing worth buying.

Re: Nnooo: Australian Ratings System Prevents Indies From Releasing Games Down Under

Sinister

In Germany it costs you 1000€ + 19% tax to get a game rated. Thats just for one System. And if you game is super buggy the USK may charge you an additional 150€ + tax. If you want to release the game on multiple platforms every new platform will cost you an additional 250€ + tax.

So a indie game that is not buggy that is to be released on the 3 major consoles + the pc would cost 1750€ + 19% tax = 2082,5€

Grated we got a population of 82 million.

You don't really need a ranting in Germany but MS, S and Nin require ratings. For PC you can release a game without a rating. If you release a game without a rating the game can not be sold to underaged people and it can be indexed.

Re: Review: Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (3DS)

@72 Do you really expect the game to finish a mission for you ? You can use the ai to stall your opponents. Its your job to kill them. Thats why you can switch between your characters. And when you are fighting beside your other officers they will do way more because again you are fighting at the scene.

If you just want to sit back and let the ai do everything for you you might as well just go and watch a movie. The ai is not there to finish anything for you.

Oh btw i only comment on stuff i find interesting. And over the last few months there was nothing that i found to be interesting enough to comment on. This is interesting because its the worst review on a site that i have come to like because of their good reviews.

Re: Review: Samurai Warriors: Chronicles (3DS)

This is perhaps the worst review i ever read on nintendolife.
I have really respected this site for good reviews. But this is just a big fail.

I am not a fan of the series, its actully my first time ever playing a warriors game. I actully never wanted to play a warriors game because it looked like a mindless button masher. But now even i understand that this game is not a mindless buttenmasher. If you play on easy perhaps, i give you that.

But once you switch over to normal or god forbid hard mode you wont be able to fight off multiple officers at once without knowing what attack you have to do. Use your attacks to split them up and isolate single officers.
Fighting multiple officers at once could lead to you death quickly.

I dont care much for the history myself but i think its quite interesting to see where the big battles took place.

This game got much more depth than the reviewer can see. Organizing your 4 warriors into a good fighting force is no easy task. Getting them to the places they need to be is a challange. Its also about learning the fights. You dont expect to master a SC2 mission on the first try either. Replay some of the fights and you will learn where ou have to position your warriors to finish all missions.

Sorry again but this review is just not giving the game the credit it deserves. This game deserves a score between 75 - 80. 50 is just not right.

I dont like Mario jump and runs that much but i understand that those games are great and deserve high ratings. Being objective is always a good thing when you review something. And this review is not objective.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

perhaps get s in all levels on a certain difficulty unlocks one upgrade. and if you have all upgrades you get the final one ?

edit:
with beam and grenades in easy, normal, hard, extra
first rocket update s in ultra and second rocket upgrade if you got all others

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

Sinister

am i right that there is nothing more to get in normal or easy cept for the 3 weapons i already own ?

cause if there is nothing left i will jump to hard and try to move on there.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

hey another long time lurker shows his face.

i just love the game. so much fun just blasting your way through hunderds of bugs. coop multiplayer rocks especially with a full team.

anyone here knows how to unlock all the weapons ?
so far i know of 4 upgrades and how to get them. but since there are supposed to be 12 i realyl would like to find out where to get the rest.

i know that you can get the first upgrades for smg, shotgun and assault rifle in the levels 3, 5, 11 on easy and normal. and when you beat hard you get the second upgrade for the smg.

kdr_11k you found any other upgrades so far ?

oh and i got a big question. when you start a new game on a higher difficulty do you lose all your unlocked weapons ? or can you play the higher difficulty with the weapons you already unlocked ?
