I don't get what everyone is so worked up about. If you happen to live near a bunch of pokestops and have a lot of free time/money on your hands, what's the harm in doing something like this? He's not telling others to play like that, it's just him setting a challenge for himself and seeing if he can accomplish it. He's not using any cheats or external websites for this, just what the game lets him do. Are people not allowed to speedrun or try to beat high scores?
I hope 505 Games will make a new game in the Drawn to Life series. All they've done since they bought the IP is release a crappy mobile port of the first game...
I have the PC version and even though it's pretty rough around the edges, it's a really fun and charming game. You can tell that it was created with love and care. I'll be getting the 3DS version when I can.
Nice to see all these people getting together playing something they enjoy. I've never seen any other game create real scenarios like this before. I hope I get to witness something like this where I live.
At the end of the day, people who lead game companies are still people, and they can get excited for games from other companies just like the rest of us.
I feel sorry for Miyamoto. He just wants to make games, but people are telling him to stop working on games and just retire. He was the person who created the IP in the first place, and Star Fox Zero was a fun game with cool concepts.
I just like the fact that I don't have to turn my vehicle directly towards something to shoot at it, plus it just feels great chasing down a Star Wolf member and targeting them using the cockpit view on the gamepad. The controls add to the game and makes combat feel way better IMO.
A 6 sounds about right. This game isn't for everyone, but if you're into speedrunning or games like Super Meat Boy, it can be a blast. I haven't bought the Wii U version but I do have the PC version. The precision of a mouse helps a lot, it's a shame this version only supports the right analogue to aim.
The best way to play this game IMO is to try and not waste a single bullet (Which is required to get a star for each level anyway). It just isn't as fun when you're shooting everywhere and doing the bare minimum to complete the level.
I don't like it when people call games crap/shovelware just because they're not the target audience. If you didn't enjoy the game, then so be it. I feel like this game gets more hate than it deserves. In this instance though, I understand the people who didn't like it because of the controls. Dual stick controls kinda suck for first person shooters, especially ones that require a lot of precision. The PC version is the way to go (unless they add motion controls in an update or something).
Also, the soundtrack is fantastic. It's really catchy and compliments the art style perfectly. Calum Bowen / bo en is the person who made the soundtrack and I recommend people check out his other stuff if they liked the music in this game.
I'm hyped for this game and I'm looking forward to using the motion controls to aim at enemies, something that has been fairly difficult to do without crashing into things in the previous games.
@Kirk By your logic, I guess the new Doom game (or just first person shooters in general) should have the exact same controls as the first Doom game because you could play the first game fine with it's original control scheme.
@Handy_Man Those framerate drops happened on the original SNES as well. It's not a problem with the emulator, it's the emulator making the game run as close to the original game as possible.
@NinjaAceTrainer In addition to what everyone else said, you can play local multiplayer and online multiplayer simultaneously. For example: you can play 8 players with 2 consoles, 4 on each.
@Zebetite A lot of roguelikes don't have any art at all. The gameplay is what makes people like them. It sounds like you just don't like roguelikes in general. The mobile and Xbox versions also have good reviews, not just the Steam version. I know all about how stupid Steam reviews can get, but this doesn't seem like one of those cases.

Re: Hardware Review: Pokémon GO Plus
Sounds good! I think I'll get it as soon as it's available somewhere. I didn't realise it was pre-order only in Australia until it was too late.
Re: Review: Noitu Love: Devolution (Wii U eShop)
@ricklongo gyroscope controls sounds terrible. This isn't a first/third person shooter.
Re: Metroid Prime: Federation Force Version 1.1 is Now Live
Nice to see some positivity in the comment section of a Federation Force article for once... other than that one commenter.
Re: Mario Sports Superstars Is A Collaboration Between Camelot And Bandai Namco
So no Final Fantasy characters this time.

@lilith He's not banned on Miiverse, at least not anymore. His posts are still up.
Re: Rhythm Paradise Megamix Is Getting Physical In Europe
@ultraraichu How many times has that happened? Pretty sure that isn't 'usually' what happens.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE You're not supposed to play them all at once.

@Lord Games are supposed to be entertainment, not an investment.
Re: Nintendo Publishes Part Two of the Miyamoto and Hayashi Star Fox Zero Interview

@ThanosReXXX It is basically a mini PC though, so what's your point?

I hope this is hinting at a new Wii U Animal Crossing game...
Re: Review: Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
@NintendoFan64 The comments on any Star Fox Zero article are terrible.
Re: Review: Lovely Planet (Wii U eShop)
@davidevoid Uh, Nintendo didn't choose the price. Pricing, when to release the game, etc is all up to the developers.

@hefferj Fire Emblem games aren't really RPGs though. They have RPG elements, but's they're strategy games.

@Parkour_LMan Henneko?
Re: Sssnakes Aims to Add a Modern Touch to the Original Mobile Gaming Hit
I like the 2D/3D thing going on, kinda like the Pyoro minigame in Game and Wario and the upcoming Dragon Quest game for 3DS.

Re: Rumour: Voice Acting Audition Hints At Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Sequel
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Project X Zone was a flop too, but it still got a sequel. A game being a flop doesn't completely rule out any chances of a sequel.

Re: Review: Bird Mania Party (Wii U eShop)
@Moon Good thing there's already a free version of this game that you can get on iOS instead.
Re: Here's A 3D Classics Version Of Zelda You Can Play In Your Web Browser
@Spoony_Tech Nope. They remake old games and make emulators for lots of different game companies, including Nintendo.
Re: Here's A 3D Classics Version Of Zelda You Can Play In Your Web Browser
@Spoony_Tech Sega didn't make their 3D remakes, M2 did.

@Zebetite It has good reviews on steam, and graphics usually aren't the selling point of roguelikes.

@Neko_Ichigofan Have you played a roguelike before?
