Aw man, I thought this port was done and waiting for the next direct! I may just finally get it for PS5 since it’s on sale right now.

I wonder if there will be many games from Summer Game Fest that will also pull the “oh yeah, this will be on Switch 1/2 too!” And if so, why are devs holding out on announcing Switch versions? Maybe to avoid having to announce delays like 007 and Lego Batman?

In this economy??

This announcement just happened to hit while I was having an internal debate about consoles (mostly Switch 2) vs PC (mostly Steam Deck) since I had an invitation to buy a Steam Machine. I declined…way too expensive, but score another point for PCs. While I don’t like the fiddliness of PC gaming, I do like that you buy a game once, and it upgrades with your hardware.

Taking cozy games to the next level of coziness.

On Switch 2, it’s Final Fantasy VII Remake, but maybe that changes once I play Rebirth.

However, my overall GOTY so far is 007 First Light. I hope it comes to Switch 2 soon for you folks who’ve been waiting.

I rolled credits on Final Fantasy VII Remake this week, and now I’m playing through the INTERmission content. After that, I’ll probably play the original FFVII (for the first time!) before jumping into Rebirth.

I love this game, and I’m happy that it’s coming to Switch 2. It was actually my introduction to Atlus, and I’ve played P5R and P3R since. Metaphor is still my favorite 😁 I may double dip a couple years from now.

The way they teased it kind of feels like punishment for the leak. It was like, “fine, but this is all you’re getting for now.”

I’m definitely checking this out. Requiem has been on my list since launch.

I really enjoyed this game, but it needs more replay value. I’m glad it’s getting DLC.

It’s a Vampire Crawlers weekend for me!

@golephish that’s great news. I couldn’t find the official answer.

I’ve wanted a complete Bond experience for a long time! So even though I really want it on Switch 2, I don’t think I’ll be able to wait. I’m trying to temper my expectations, but if this plays as advertised, this will probably be my personal GOTY.

Does anyone know if mouse mode is supported in the Switch 2 version?

I played the Steam demo, and as a fan of VS, I was grinning ear to ear. It seemed a little easy, but Poncle said that the full release won’t be as easy. I can’t wait. This is exactly what I need after playing a few 100+ hour RPGs.

I’m surprised Minishoot Adventures didn’t make the list!

I still need to play the Pragmata demo, but after finishing a couple 100+ hour JRPGs, Crawlers will be just what I need until 007 drops.

There aren’t enough turn-based RPGs that aren’t in fantasy/medieval settings, so I’m interested.

I’m focusing on Persona 5 Royal to finally clear it from my long backlog. I just finished the fourth palace, so at 60 hours, I have like 70 more to go?!

Minor correction: Shredder’s Revenge was developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu (that will be the case with Marvel Cosmic Invasion too). So it’s not exactly the same team.

On paper, this wouldn’t be my type of game. However, the aesthetic, music, and theme may sway me. Hoping for a demo!

And a Rivals shadow drop would be awesome!
