Even I, a person who clearly is hyped for Prime 4 given my username/pfp, am inclined to agree. DK Bananza is new and fresh and looks genuinely amazing, and I am the rare Pauline fan so I’m eating good. Besides, I’m not exactly super old so it’s not like I’ve been waiting on the next Metroid Prime for as long as some other people. I had to grow into my love of Metroid later on in life, well after the Prime games released.

ASAP for sure. Not sure if I’ll manage day one, but I mean come on. Game looks amazing and my girl Pauline finally getting a spotlight in a mainline DK game after so long, I’m hyped.

@sanderev Yeah. But from the looks of the trailer it almost looks like certain segments are straight up pre-rendered cutscenes now, so perhaps that hikes up the size.

@Brianst0rm Yeah unfortunately not. If it's truly a Switch 2 I doubt they'll hang onto it. Some systems like the 3DS defintely keep hanging on, but in its case the next console wasn't just it but better like Nintendo loves to do.

It has the potential to be the best selling game console of all time, they just need to keep supporting it

Idk how to feel about the growing monopoly of major games Microsoft is growing, but given the poor state of Activision Blizzard these days, maybe there will be positive changes there, who knows.

Props to even Microsoft shutting down such an absurd statement. Obviously they respect the fact that Nintendo is a valid competitor in the space. It may be doing it’s own thing, but as the article brings up, just look at the numbers.

That’s cool. Physical take buying ain’t totally dead still, but at the least it isn’t ridiculously tedious waiting either.

Yeah, they can take their time. As Miyamto once said, “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.” If that’s what it needs, I’m all for it.

Checked it out and tbh I just don’t understand why it’s like a full reset of the content. It’s like, the same game, so I don’t understand why anything new couldn’t just be implanted as QoL or new content. Feels so unnecessary and I think it may alienate dedicated players. At least I didn’t have much progress in the game or play it nowadays so I won’t feel such effects really.
