Price seems fair for the N64 controller, but that genesis controller would only make sense if it was a 2 pack like the switch Nes pads

People hoping for N64, i wouldn't suggest holding your breath. Gameboy/Gameboy advance with Metroid 2 and Metroid Advance games seems very likely. Gba will probably Not include Advance Wars.

@scottdevine48 I would absolutely love for Sega to re-release some of the other 2d sonic games for a change. (Pocket adventure, the game gear ones, master system sonics, sonic advance games, etc) instead of the same genesis games

@DragotheKomodo So what I'm hearing, is if this game sells well maybe they can allocate some funding.
Hopefully they have an internal spreadsheet of relative costs for each character. Powdered toast man is probably low, and I'd imagine spongebob is sitting on the top

but I ALSO understand that adding Voice Acting isn't as simple as taking voice clips from the shows. You've got to consider other language support, licensing rights, and of course agreements with the voice actors/actresses

Imo the Lite will probably get a price drop once it's sales start slowing "post" pandemic (I know it's still going on, but here in the states you wouldn't know it if you don't frequent hospitals or schools)

@RupeeClock Face button layout is actually important for the gamecube. Smash bros for example is TOTALLY not the same without just being able to roll your thumb around from the central A button.

@Matl Speaking for myself, I'd use it for Multiplayer party games, (Mario Kart, Smash, etc.). Single player games can just stay in their cases most of the time, but I can totes see a use for this!

I think it's concerning that during E3 news is so slow that this is even newsworthy

Currently the bar is low, set at "WW and TP:HD getting a switch release" and "the Mario Game and Watch getting a Zelda version"

While I WOULD like a switch model powerful enough to run games in 60fps (I don't care about 4k, visually I just can't see much of a difference from 1080), I'm quite happy with nintendo's policy of Style over numbers. That said, I WANT Sony/Microsoft to give me a reason to want their new systems, and I just don't have that reason yet. The switch, by the 6 month mark, had enough games to justify a purchase.
