@Peterjr1 Gambling also implies the risk for you to lose. In this game, you still get something when you don't get the character you want. It's not like a real lottery where you lose everything if you lose the bet.

@Heavyarms55 I'm sure creating Meta like that is the only way to keep it balanced from people who would just buy the 'best' cards and either Troll or Dominate.

@FiveDigitLP While I don't typically play Gacha games some do it right. F.E.H. is alright I suppose. I play Bleach: Brave Souls, a fantastic example.

@Peterjr1 You're not 'Gambling' though. You play the story mode to unlock the trainers. You can even play event mode to unlock special trainers.

@Wavey84 Z2 and Z3 play a lot of the same mechanics. I prefer the third installment myself!

@TYRANACLES In the DS collection, you were allowed to cheat the method of gaining fairies. I used that method to grant myself a fairy that would save me from fall damage.

@RedderRugfish While that is true, I feel like Mega Man X has more flexibility in terms of fighting. In Z if you ever get bored of shooting you can use other sub-items that do the same damage. If you ever get bored you have his insane Z Sword which dealt the most damage regardless of the element weakness. X never had any of that and was a traditional Mega Man game (with wall jumps and a dash of course). I'm not saying it's bad or anything (Z is actually my favorite in the series, I like him even more than Blues) I'm just saying Z series went with a different approach.

@edgedino You know using the portals is actually a good idea! I can't believe I never thought of that. I got my little bro, Black Panther/Doctor Strange/Ms.Marvel/Spider-Gwen and we just kinda rinse repeat until we beat it on our 3rd time.

@edgedino That probably explains it. I kept it on the highest difficulty and by the Third to last Chapter I had to get help from my brother. I could no longer beat the game by myself. The bosses got so crazy! Infinity Trials more so!

@Kalmaro It mainly has to do with:

• Who you play.
• Your Difficulty.
• and what side missions you choose to do or omit.

@edgedino I will say the story can be beaten pretty easily. It took me a little longer to beat since I had it on the highest Difficulty. what was your Difficulty set on when you used Venom to demolish everyone?

@westman98 If that was the case they would have way more characters in that mode. I'm pretty sure Metal Sonic was 16-bit too. It shouldn't be super hard to make a 16-bit character model. I could probably find one on the Internet.

@Yoshinator Well Dream Events are the most fun in the game. It looks like they've added some new events and revamped the old ones. For instance, if you check out the Gamescom footage you can see the updated Archery game as well as some real footage of how Classic Mode works as well.

Since he was punched by Cherry I don't think he'll be playable but let's hope he's an integral part of the story. Of Course, if Shiva is here that could only mean Mr.X Somehow escaped death AGAIN. Perhaps we could get Shiva's Sister (I forgot her name)!

So I guess you really can't be too harsh. I personally think they did it to maintain the 'Retro' feel to it by putting designs that everyone recognizes (like 8-bit Mario and 16-bit Sonic). Even though they should be synchronized it looks and (hopefully plays) awesome! I'm hyped for this game and I hope everyone who buys it will enjoy it as well. The only thing they could add at this point is online versus mode. That would make my day! (^<^)

@RadioHedgeFund Spirts admittedly does take less time than Trophies. But the work necessary to put them on the game requires diligence. It takes a little bit more than 'Flavor Text'.

@Kalmaro Adam was so strong though! His stats from the first game were all great, he had a backbreaker throw, His special in SoR Remake was AMAZING! I want him back... I shouldn't have to play the 3ds Remake to play Adam. But yeah Max was ridiculous (highest attack value of any character).

@Shiryu If I can't get Adam, then you can't get Shiva. Although that shadowy character reminds me of Zan since it looks robotic...

I wish I could get into the series... I just don't get it I guess. I know people who have the same opinion about Smash Bros., which I think is the best game in the world. I've never played nor watched footage of a single Shantae game. If someone could maybe like explain the appeal of it, that might help me to understand. I'm not saying I'm against it or anything/I'm not saying people are wrong for liking it. This is merely my opinion and thoughts.
