If you happen to own Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, you're in for a treat later this week. On 30th August, a free update will add the X-Men Cyclops and Colossus to this delightful Switch exclusive.
In addition to this, three free costumes will also be added. Spider-Man scores his Symbiote Suit, Hulk gets his Planet Hulk outfit and Captain Marvel receives a Ms. Marvel outfit. Marvel showed off all three of these costumes on its YouTube channel:
It was also confirmed more free costumes would be added to the game in the future. As discovered last week, the first paid DLC pack will arrive in the game on 30th September. For more details about this, see our previous post.

Three great costumes, straight from the comics! I hope this continues, the game really misses the same detailed costumes that the originals had.
Alright actually different skins, not just the lazy color swaps they call costumes. Definitely up for more of these.
I really wanna play this, I really do because Im a big marvel nerd...but I heard if you get physical you cant get the DLC...is this true? I wanna get physical with DLC
@PBandSmelly the DLC is just stored to a S.D. card. You can totally buy physical and then add the dlc to the game.

@PBandSmelly Wait what lol. Why wouldn't you be able to get the DLC if you buy the game physical? The DLC obviously wouldn't be on the cartridge but you can pay for it and download it.
I hope we get a World War Hulk costume down the line. I absolutely loved that comic.

@Heavyarms55 Fire Emblem Three Houses has been taking up most of my time on Switch as of late but Marvel Alliance 3 is really fun. I know how it is to have a backlog, but when you get the chance definitely try it out.

Wish these had been available at launch. Was so disappointed with the couple of costumes I unlocked that I didn’t bother with any more. Completed main story now and doubt I’ll dive back in. Was good fun though.
