Vitamin Connection

The talented independent studio WayForward has officially revealed Vitamin Connection, a new two-player action title exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It promises to deliver thrills, laughs and varied gameplay "unlike anything else" on the system and is receiving a Limited Run physical release. Right now, though, there's no release date or price.

In Vitamin Connection, the player takes on the role of Vita-Boy and Mina-Girl as they guide a minuscule Capsule Ship into battle against evil bacteria living within organisms. Here's a bit about the gameplay, directly from the press release:

By blasting subatomic foes with your Vitamin Beam, utilizing a special claw tool, and navigating maze-like stages, you'll save the members of the Sable family - including the dog! - from a variety of hazardous and increasingly wacky predicaments. Each level also includes sub-games featuring rhythm challenges, Pong-like reflex tests, and more.

If you've got a friend or family member on-hand, the two-player co-op mode allows one player to control the Capsule Ship's movement and shooting while the other handles its rotation and aiming. Coordination and connection between players is the key to victory!

Interestingly, Vitamin Connection will be made available as a Limited Run Games physical title first. Once this has been published, the digital release from WayForward will follow. More information about the pre-order window, pricing, and release date will be shared at a later date on the WayForward and Limited Run websites.

And here are the key features:

  • Blast bacteria with your Vitamin Beam across six colorful stages!
  • Overcome sub-games featuring precision twisting, rhythmic action, and more!
  • Vibrant visuals with a retro-futuristic aesthetic!
  • Uniquely innovative Joy-Con controls and HD Rumble!
  • Play solo or coordinate with a friend in two-player mode!
  • Exclusively on Nintendo Switch!
