Mega Man X more than any other game but I'd love to see Little Nemo for the NES as well.

Surprised they didn't release the two Hudson games together but this is a pretty good update for you guys. This makes the 299th release doesn't it? Does anyone else think they'll ignore the 300th, or will they actually acknowlage it with a secret unannounced game? Not likely with Hanabai going on but you never know.

Now don't loose your mind over something so trivial. Not worth it. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic here but I see Rondo of Blood in our future, sometime this year in fact. Hopefully I'm right.

The only Genesis game I want that still isn't up is Castlevania: Bloodlines.

Not a bad update by any stretch but it still boggles my mind why Nintendo is so adament about holding onto Smash Bros. in North America... I mean wouldn't they WANT to get those massive sales numbers ASAP? Oh well, maybe next week. Sigh.

Fantastic update for you guys. Looks like hanabi will make up for those weeks you didn't get any VC games. Definately going to be a good month for Europe.

Good to see Final Fight 2 and Phantasy Star recieve ratings finally. It's bittersweet though because we really should've recieved both these games already, had the releases not slowed so significantly in the past year or so.

I think all he's saying here is that this new game will still contain all the things that had made previous Zeldas... well, Zelda games. I just hope it doesn't follow the Ocarina of Time formula again, although the only Zelda that has done so is Twilight Princess when you really think about it. Still a better game then most out there though.

Well, I can't really agree with those of you who say this is a bad update because Water Warfare and Fantasy Zone II are pretty good games. I'm disappointed there's no Smash (or Cave Story) in North America yet as well, but that doesn't mean these games aren't worth your time. Besides there's always next week.

Wonder if the slowdown in VC releases was to prepare for the flood of import titles you'll no doubt be getting.

This is a solid update, and ya'll have to be happy that the 1 VC game every 2 weeks seems to just have been a temporary fluke.

It's funny because even without the Namco arcade titles, that's still more than we'll be getting next month... did I say funny? I meant SAD! T_T

Edit: Oops, just noticed two of those games are slated for June. My bad. Still, when is North America going to get some love that we don't have to wait for a VC milestone to enjoy.

No Cave Story OR Smash Bros? Bummer.

I always felt the same way about the story in games like this. Mario has never been about story and that's the way it should always be. Perhaps if Sonic kept things simpler, he would be in better shape than he is today, no? Can't wait for BOTH these Mario games btw.

Well, it sucks we didn't get Smash but that should've been expected. Now that Space Harrier is up we have only two catch up games left in front of Smash (Fantasy Zone II and Secret Command) but there's always the chance they'll put the former up first, I suppose. Nice that they've went all out for WiiWare this week, though.

Seriously Nintendo, you had better give this to North America on Monday or you'll have some VERY pissed off people to deal with. We had to wait for Majora's Mask, don't make us wait for this one too.

Well, I guess Cave Story probably isn't coming out this Monday then. That's too bad.

The remake doesn't look that great, imo. Perhaps the SNES version will be what Wii owners get instead, which would really be the better deal for us as far as I'm concerned.

Well, the Koei games are all finally out of the way, the ones we know about at least. North America STILL hasn't seen the release of Secret Command, Fantasy Zone II or Space Harriar, so I expect the remainder of June to be without any surprises, not to mention Sim Earth on the Hudson site for a June release as well. Maybe we'll get Mario Kart next month shrugs. We should be getting Cave Story soon and that'll be enough to keep me happy for a while. Here's hoping it finally comes out, next Monday.

Well, I'm still happy with my DS Lite. I may get a DSi eventually but as for a new system entirely I really don't see any reason for them to release one right now. The system has lots of good games already and plenty more planned. No need to change hardware yet, right?

I don't see how this Link looks any different than the one in Twilight Princess. In fact he looks EXACTLY the same. Not a bad thing mind you but I just don't see how this is the more adult looking Link everyone's talking about. Oh and yeah, that woman is cleary the spirit of the Master Sword, no question.

Why are you guys only getting a single VC release every two weeks now? I don't get the logic in that and I fear the same thing will happen to North America in the near future.

I would've been all over this had it not been for the fact you have to pay more for the full experience. It's a rip off and I'm not falling for it Square-Enix, sorry.

Meanwhile Europe seems to now get 1 game every two weeks and the same fate may soon befall North America... not fair. Maybe we'll get Mario Kart and Smash Bros. sometime before the year is up... MAYBE!

I had a feeling Japan would be getting this game this month. The question remains, though, will North Americans get this or Super Smash Bros. first? I'm betting this but we'll see.

Wow, huge catch up week for us! Not sure I'll be downloading anything from this list but it's nice to not have Clayfighter hanging over our heads anymore. Of course we still have Secret Command and Fantasy Zone II to be released. I fully expect both those games in June.

I had a feeling they were going to do this. Probably a smart move considering the second and third games didn't quite sell as well as the first. Still sucks that I'll have an extra copy of Metroid Prime 3 and as the last person had already stated, this better be $50 or less.

Edit: Oh and it looks like we won't have to deal with the "New Play Control" branding on this either, which is a huge plus in my opinion.

Surprisingly, Nintendo actually came through today but a part of me is still a bit miffed that North America had to wait nearly two months longer for this game, just so it could be release 300. Hopefully Nintendo will give us a game before anyone else to make up for it. Super Mario Kart perhaps? ^^'

This actually looks like an interesting game. I'll be keeping my eye on it.

The answer is simple; Nintendo did NOTHING to promote the title, save for a couple of preview videos on the Nintendo channel. Heck, the game was only announced a mere month before it's release.
All I can say is that it's a shame because it's a fun game and one that deserves more appriciation.

The WiiWare game alone makes this yet another good update for Europe... maybe we'll get a good one someday again. T_T

Why does it seem like Nintendo want's to hold back an any decent downloadable games until AFTER E3. Maybe they know we'll be so disappointed by the show that they'll need those games to ease our pain.

All these piss poor WiiWare games are just running together, as I was certain we had already recieved this lame pirate game. As for VC, Nintendo didn't disappoint! By that I mean that we all expected crap, and that's exactly what we got. Bravo, Nintendo, bravo!

Even though next week will be release 300, I've lowered my expectations over the past six shovel fest weeks, so I don't expect Nintendo to actually give us anything worth downloading, as usual.

Very cool! Although I find it odd we still haven't seen the original NES version on VC yet. Hopefully Castlevania is next in the Rebirth line.

Kind of a "meh" update but still infinatly better than what we got this last Monday.

As some have already said, Phantom Hourglass already did this, pretty much, and that game really surprised a lot of Zelda fans, including me. I'm looking foward to this game!

Hmm, I suppose there is nothing stopping them from releasing the original Final Fantasy games out of order, so a VC release of FFIV before or on the day of this release isn't totally out of the question. I'm curious if they'll actually change the title from Final Fantasy II to IV for the North American release...

You all should have made peace with this a long time ago. I know I did and this news doesn't bother me in the least, especially sinse I had the forsight to keep all my Rare developed N64 cartridges. In terms of Virtual Console, specifically it's appearent neglect here in North America, I have enough to worry about the service already without thinking about games that I was smart enough to realize would never come from the beginning.

As an American, this news is exciting but doesn't mean much as Nintendo could hold onto this one for months, maybe even years. Look at Majora's Mask. My guess is NOE is poising Super Mario Kart to be the 300th release in Europe, which is still a couple months away assuming they'll only average a single game a week.

I'll just say again how much it boggles my mind how Nintendo consistantly has updates like this in the largest region, where the system is most popular. What business school did these people go to, where it's appearantly more lucrative to NOT offer products that people want. W. T. F?!

Hey I actually predicted right! Nintendo disappointed in spades this week. Funny thing is I don't even feel like complaining about it... it just seems pointless anymore.

I personaly would prefer that they just release the SNES version on VC rather than this. Hopefully that's what they meant when they said they're "working on it for Wii". If that's not the plan than I'm not too keen on this remake. Something about it just looks tacky and wrong.

This game looks extremely polished. I'll be getting this one ASAP. My only experience with the series is the first GBA title but I loved that game. Assuming this works in much the same way, I'm sure I'll like this one too.

Wow, yet another second rate VC game for NOA to load in the chamber BEFORE Majora's Mask and Super Smash Bros. The list just keeps getting longer and longer...

Nine edisodes? Does that mean 9 different downloads? I don't think I like that, especially if were talking about 500pt+ downloads. I'm not going to pay $45 or more for this, I'm sorry. I'll gladly front the 800pts for the original SNES game though.

The more I think about this whole Smash Bros. thing, the madder I get... It's like, now what? We've passed BOTH the one year of Brawl and ten years of the original, so what exactly is Nintendo waiting for? Are we going to even get the game at all? What does this mean for Majora's Mask release here in North America? So many questions that Nintendo will undoubtably ignore as fans get more angry with each passing Monday. I don't see why we couldn't have gotten this game in January when Japan did as was the case with most of the N64 games before hand. I let it go then because I assumed they'd save it for the 10th anniversary which they obviously did not... DARN YOU NINTENDO!! YOU SUCK!!!!
