Re: Feature: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Is Secretly One Of The Best Zeldas

Radbot42

I recently played it for the first time. I thought it had a lot of good ideas, but each one was terribly executed. Dungeons were beyond basic, with the Temple of the Ocean King being the only interesting one. I didn't mind repeating it as each time I came back there were new ways to go. Everything else though... trash.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2's Final Ninji Speedrun Course Could Spell The End For New Content

@Dizzymario Yep Nintendo refuses to have continued support. How long have games like Minecraft, Overwatch, and Stardew Valley gotten continuous support? We've gotten to the point where games don't really need sequels anymore if they don't make sense. Mario Maker is one of those games that should just get more and more things added to it. Yes Overwatch 2 is happening, but it's more of an expansion pack. I'm pretty sure if you have 1 you can play any new character they plan on adding in Overwatch 2.

Re: Best Nintendo DS RPGs

A lot of good games on here. Recently purchased EO3 for around $80. Even purchased a DS because I hate playing DS games on the 3DS. Definitely worth the plunge. Great experience and it opened up access to my DS games again.

Re: Best Nintendo 3DS RPGs

I wish MH Stories would go on sale. Atlus and Capcom regularly put games on sale on the 3DS, but because Stories was published by Nintendo, and Nintendo has basically forgotten about the 3DS the game is not likely to go on sale, even though right now is a great time for the sale with MH Stories 2 coming out this summer.

They need to give Terranigma the Trials of mana treatment. It was just soooooo good. I'd buy a port and a remake if I could. Hell, Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia were both great games too. Give me a cart of all 3 and then remake Terranigma!

Re: Atlus Wants To Know What Games You Want Ported To Switch

@Rika_Yoshitake

They definitely ask about switch ports. I just completed the survey thanks to google translate, and there basically asked what games you would want on which console. (could select multiple consoles per game) I mainly just picked EO on Switch and then told them I want new EO games over ports but would still grab the ports.

Re: Atlus Wants To Know What Games You Want Ported To Switch

I really think Atlus needs to start making new games. They haven't made many lately. I've recently bought all of the EO games on 3DS, (3 on DS) so I don't really need ports. 3 would be good as it's hard to get and so expensive. But I really want is new Etrian Odyssey and new obscure RPGs not connected to any of their main series. Give us new stuff like Radiant Historia (but not a port). No more ports!!!

Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Will Feature amiibo Support, File Size Revealed

I'm very excited for this game to re-release! When I played it I was reviewing it for a class. (was majoring in journalism at the time) I made it a point to finish the game before I turned in the review. This game came out near the end of the semester and I had to rush through it to finish my review. I remember staying up long hours to play as far as I could to be able to turn in my review.

I loved playing the game, but it will be nice to play it at my own pace now. Hopefully they fix Fi and the item pick up.

Re: PSA: Planning On Buying Monster Hunter Rise? Play The Demo First To Receive Free Extras

Radbot42

I don't think the demo was a great representation of the game. You don't get an opportunity to learn the skills and combos of any of the weapons. There was a training room in World, and I hope to see it again in Rise. Also, the more difficult monster was a later game monster that you are fighting with beginner gear. It would make anyone feel like they are not suited for the game, especially newbies.
