Splatoon 2 is one of those titles I see and know to preorder so I can be on it day one. Fantastic choice for the Switch.

Ended up getting a Switch offline (had to pay $320) just because I was worried it'd be such a hot item I wouldn't see it in store until April.

Looks pretty interesting! Big fan of fighting games in general, so I may give it a play.

That guy is clearly an idiot, but he's also an adult. If he wants to spend thousands on a mobile game, he should be able. It isn't hurting anyone (except his wallet).

Besides, if it's gambling, it's gambling that gives you better chances to roll better characters the longer you don't, and gambling with tokens you can get for free.

To offer a conflicting view, Nitendo has every right to control its secrets and when it when it will not announce information.

For instance, this data is likely outdated. Nintendo wouldn't want old specs to leak.

But in the old fanboy-ism camp, most of us are clicking refresh on Reddit in between Cheetos. We want leaks and we want it last month. As long as there's a want, knuckleheads will leak info.

If I wasn't saving for the Switch, I'd be tempted.

I'm not convinced the Switch will sell as well as the Wii, but I like that the president is framing massive success as a reachable goal.

This 2D birdman isn't getting one at launch, even if he tried.

I'm looking forward to what HD Rumble has to offer. Imagine developers of a detective/puzzle game (Ace Attorney or Professor Layton maybe?) using it to investigate a crime scene or reach underneath objects to find things. Imagine an action game where you could feel the impact of your weapon. I would actually really love that last feature for a Monster Hunter game! The possibilities are endless.

Good old Nintendo... innovating in a feature no one thought to.

I really can't see the problem here.

Save $50-$120 more to buy whatever you want. For kids, that may seem like a bunch, but it just means they won't get it at launch. For adults, you looser can wait another month or so, assuming you have a job. In which case you probably shouldn't be spending money on video games anyway.

Looks like changes were made for the better, although they lost some functions.

I like the line that mentions the changes were for the better. The delays for the Switch gave them extra time to work on the entire product.

Probably a standard unit and a BTW bundle.

Nintendo shouldn't and possibly won't sell it for $300.

These titles will probably be launch titles too.
