It's weird that NintendoLife decided to write "Meh-ga evolution" in the captions, leading the user to think that the game is bad ("Meh"), even though most previews are praising the gameplay and loop, and the only main criticism being the visuals. Which I do agree with that criticism.

While I believe HD-2D is a great way to remake some games, I don't want the market to become oversaturated with the HD-2D genre. It looks good, I agree, but too many games with that same artstyle will make it's value and impression decline.

After seeing the cancelled early 2000's fan remake of Chrono Trigger, which is called (Chrono Reserruction), there is no way I would want anything other than that. Absolutely phenomenal, people should check it out.

Why couldn't any of this be explained in the actual game? Why do we need to developers to explain this is in the interviews? TOTK is the weakest game in the series not only Story wise, but even the Lore of the game is lacking.

We don't need Splatoon 4. In fact, we didn't a Splatoon 3. Waste of development time and resources. This series should have one main series game per console.

I would prefer a situation where a Switch Pro/Super Switch is released rather than a Switch 2. Nintendo must capitalize on the current switch for 1 or 2 more years before releasing an entirely new console/Switch 2.

Who said developers like EA and Activision don't get shunned for doing the same thing? Just because it is a standard in the industry doesn't mean that it's right. Nintendo is known for innovation and creativity, not for reskinned "sequels" (aside from the infamous New. Super Mario Bros. Series) This isn't what they should be striving for.

Yet you can't fight my claim back with actual reasoning on why this is deserving of a sequel with how little its different from Splatoon 2. Just a few notable additions with a new hub won't make it worthwhile. All of that could have been added as a (Major DLC) to Splatoon 2.

If the game had new Full-Fledged Cool/Creative modes, a long single-player campaign with cutscenes, I would agree with you, but this isn't it.

Salmon Run? Why are they advertising this mode as "new" when it already was in the older game?

Now go and buy Splatoon 4 when it releases in a couple of years with a new hub area and gameplay adjustments for 70$.

I would be against that if it was a non-profit fangame, but these people are using them without permission and are profiting money from The Pokemon Company owned creation.

Why is Kalos placed at Number 7? What kind of hate-b*ner does this website hold against Gen 6?

Kalos designs were universally acclaimed. And they literally had the best Pokémon because Game Freak this time actually focused on the Quality of the Pokémon rather than its Quantity after the frowned upon designs of Gen 5.

Ask literally any one in the Pokémon community and they tell you that Gen 6 had excellent designed Pokémon. This is so ridiculous.

XY should definitely be placed higher. It had a good story that was emotional, and new mechanics that were integrated well into the campaign narrative. Let's not forget the Looker's Side story after you complete the game, they were excellent.

On the other hand, I think that Gen 5 is overrated and is just placed that high because the Pokémon community is a hivemind.

Its ironic that they are waiting for someone to come up with a "unique idea" in order to make a sequel for an eagerly awaited series that has been dormant for over 15 years when they are the same ones that made the New Super Mario Bros. Series.

I guess 60% action, and 40% shooter would be a great combination. However, the main game was a good game on its own too.

This. But what gurantees you that Nintendo might have a direct around June (E3 time). When E3 was cancelled back in 2020, Nintendo also didn't have a direct. Hopefully Nintendo will have a direct this year.

Also, it doesn't make sense on why E3 was cancelled. (inb4 some crappy excuse with no viable-logical reason.)

3DS Rainbow Road is a damn masterpiece.

Pablo matches the colors of an old datamine within Mario 3D World that contained a specific "Character Select" color scheme.

That's what I thought too. They could have Switch Online as something akin to a "rental gamepass", and then you could pay money to download the game from virtual console to fully own it, Nintendo can guarantee double the money.

At least they are put something to affirm us, and I'm happy for that.

2023 for Switch 2 is still too early, I see a switch 2 releasing in late 2024 or in 2025 or even later, but no earlier than that. But I see them releasing an improved current Switch this year or next year.

Yeah bro, I know that this is an animation rather than a game, that's why I stated "to work as designers and animators". As for a mother game, it doesn't need to be another mother game, it could be a remake of Earthbound or Mother 3 in this style.

The title ruins the entire thing. Maybe I'm overreacting, but the cover looks so grand, and that ugly name and title sticks out on the cover. The naming worked with Octopath, doesn't work here at all. I will be hopefully buying this game.

This is so cursed, each time I look I get close to identifying its similarity between an official Pokémon, and then I realize its too different. It's like mixing traits between the officially released Pokémon by feeding it to an AI, and the AI proceeds to create new Pokémon relying on the Input Pokémon.

When a video game company spends much more on online infrastructure than they do on games, yet their Online Services and offering are sh*tty and miles worse than what other competitors offers, you know that their is something wrong.

No! Come on! Why 2 sequels on one console? Same case with Splatoon. I wanted to see new IP's from these talented developers. Hopefully the Xenoblade 3 rumor is false and they are making an entirely new IP. I wouldn't mind if they made Xenoblade 3, but in my opinion, they should make it after making a new IP.

The visuals and the artstyle honestly look breathtaking. Something unique and special.

The story though... I don't know.

No More Heroes 3, Metroid Dread, and Shin Megami Tensei 5 are the mature video games that we've been wanting since the beginning of the Switch, and they are all releasing in the same year.

Its so incompetent of Nintendo when they don't localize their games to support the 4th most spoken language in the entire world, and yet they support languages that are spoken by just a couple of millions.

Many people in the Arab world play video games, yet Nintendo continues to ignore these players.

Even Sony, Microsoft, and many other companies already localizes many of their games in Arabic, even some of them having completely new Arabic voice acting. It's honestly baffling, their ignorance.
