Last week we ran a competition for our UK based readers to submit their most ingenious, challenging, or creative Super Mario Maker levels which will be showcased at EGX at the Birmingham NEC on Nintendo UK's booth. In addition to this there will be a big demonstration on Saturday afternoon of the three levels on the main stage.
We were inundated with countless fantastic entries and had an incredibly difficult time picking just three winners, but three winners is what we said and we managed to eventually narrow it down to the following lucky entrants:
These prosperous level designers will be presented with £100 to spend on the Official Nintendo UK Store and a Retro Colours Super Mario Maker amiibo, in addition to getting free entry for themselves and a friend to EGX on Saturday 26th September.
We look forward to meeting our lucky winners next week and we hope to capture some video of this momentous event to share with you at a later date.
Please join us in congratulating our deserving winners with a comment below.

Congrats to the winners!
Nice! I'll have to try those levels when I get home! 😀
Well played chaps, will give them all a whirl shortly. See you at EGX!
Well done to the victorious trio. Will check out your levels after work 😊
Congrats guys, I will most certainly give those a whirl tonight!
Have fun partying at EGX on my Birthday!
this is maybe the biggest reason to get a wiiU, but with the NX on the horizon and my wallet not willing to pay for a WiiU...not gonna get it
Wow! I actually won! Thanks guys thats incredible
Will we all be forced to play these levels to keep our accounts here?
Oh, for some reason I was thinking that I still had a day left to submit a level. Well, never mind. A big congratulations to the winners.
I must say, with all the quality levels submitted here I'm very surprised that these were the winners. Crusher Cavern was a really good course but the other two were pretty disappointing. Congrats all the same to the winners but there's some great courses on here that have sadly been passed over.
At the risk of sounding like a sore loser - which I should stress I'm not as I was in no way expecting to win - I submitted two levels for this both within the correct time frame and with the correct tag and neither of them have been played by anyone at nintendolife.
Although I have to hope that this is an incident isolated to myself, if it isn't then the competition appears to have been run unfairly.
Thanks, this really made my day:D! Congrats to the other two winners, can't wait to meet you both.
Thanks guys!
@ShadowLink99 @Ridley126 Question for you guys, did you also get sent a Ticket for the 27th and not the 26th like said.
@The_Goomba Mine's for the 26th, not sure why yours would be for the 27th. Try emailing them
@The__Goomba Mines 26th too, must be an error. Best let them know.
@ShadowLink99 I just played it. Your level is really good! I really like your designing multiple paths to the goal.
