Hoesntly I have no idea what a supposedly Switch Pro could bring to the table except for a better screen and more raw power, something that's definitely not happening.
I'm usually very Jewish when it comes to how I spend my money, but with the Switch I'm willing to make the sacrifice. Games like Resident Evil, Rayman Legends and Alien are games I could easily buy for my PC at a cheaper price and with better performance but playing my favorite games on a handheld device just doesn't compare. Is like a childhood dream to have a handheld with home console power and games so I'm really happy
Doesn't really look bad. I'm personally looking forward to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Doom Eternal, Bravely Default II and maybe the Pokémon Sword Expansion if I buy the game this year
Agree, the Switch may not be able to run the same games that release for the PS5/Xbox Series X but that doesn't mean the third party support will stop. There are still plenty of PS3/Xbox 360 and PS4/Xbox One games that can be ported to the system and I doubt Sony and Microsoft new consoles will stop that. You have that plus Nintendo's amazing first party support and the portability gimmick and you are set. The Switch won't go anywhere.
But being honest there's no need for a Switch Pro. At least not this early into the Switch life cycle when it is doing this good. I personally think the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X won't make a difference to Nintendo since it's clear the Switch isn't trying to compete with Sony and Microsoft. As long as good third party and first party games keep being made the Switch will still sell well.
Like this article says I don't think an hypothetical Switch Pro would be much different from the Switch we currently have. Maybe a nicer look, better battery, screen, resolution and a little bit more powerful but that's about it. It won't be a massive upgrade like some people want. That said, I predict Nintendo will release two more upgrades after the Lite. Switch Pro and Switch Lite Pro (Similar to the New N2DS XL). Personally I'm pretty content with my Switch Lite so Im not planning on buying another one UNLESS the new Switch can somehow move games like RE2, GTAV or RDR2.
Since Handheld gaming is so big in Japan i wish Microsoft and Sony would go the Nintendo way and make hybrid consoles like the Switch. Imagine playing games like Uncharted and Gears Of War in the go
Amazing how much the Switch is selling compared to the PS4 and Xbox. Granted at this point probably everyone has one of those already but still. Japan really loves their handhelds.
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Bioshock Collection, Red Dead Redemption 2, Metro Exodus. I hope Nintendo learns from this in the future and gives us Nintendo Directs before everything gets leaked
Wow, we have Metro Exodus, Bioshock Collection and Red Dead Redemption 2. Now all we need is Fallout 3 or 4 and Dead Space Collection and I'll be a happy man
This is another port I wanted but wasn't expecting. Can't wait for the Direct. Now all I need is for Fallout 3 or 4 to come to Switch and I'll be satisfied
Metroid Prime Trilogy HD is a MUST. Would love to see a Fallout 3 or 4 port and if Resident Evil 2/7 can play decently in my potato laptop then no reason why it wouldn't run on Switch. Oh Kakarot coming to Switch later this year like FighterZ did would be great too. Now, my dream would be a Dead Space Trilogy port but I know that's never happening.
Rayman Legends Definitive Edition is also getting a discount from 39.99 to 11$. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should buy the digital or physical copy of the game.
The expansions cost 60$ in total so even if we are not getting third versions this is basically the same. Don't know how to feel about this, on one hand I'm glad I won't have to wait for a third version but on another GF is giving us DLC for content that should already have been in the game. Anyway this means Pokémon Shield will come home eventually
A Switch Pro doesn't make sense. What will happen with the people who bought the original and Lite? Also, if the Switch won't be able to play Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 6 or Resident Evil 3 then I'm not interested
Makes sense, after all the Switch lacks lots of must-have games from this generation that can only be found on PC, Xbox, and PS4. Personally i've never liked owning more than one console at a time because then i feel like im becoming obsessed so the Switch is enough for me

WHAT? Are they implying the UFO will be much cheaper? How cheap are we talking about here, 150$?

Metro Exodus will do until Fallout 3 or 4. Also, 2 game carts in the package? What is this sorcery?
Re: Metro Redux Has Just Been Officially Confirmed For Switch
@HardcoreDaBoss I would be happy with just PS3/Xbox 360 ports, to be honest. The Switch is more than capable for that
