My local store had 2 First Prints when I arrived. So I got mine without a problem but you really had to be there day 1.

I haven't read every single comment but people seem to ignore completely that the Streetdate in Germany is OFFICIALLY the 2nd because the 3rd is our national holiday!!!! So they broke the streetdate by one day. I'm pretty sure this will happen all over Europe tomorrow...

I love the film. It's trashy fun and very creative. I think people just have the wrong expectations because it's Mario Bros.

I think this is the best way they could go on mobile. It's not taking anything away from their platforms since the Card Game does not exist there anyway and it's something simple and something meant for touchscreen. And YES, I'd much rather play this on my Ipad then my 3DS or Wii U. I often pick up the ipad for 5 minutes to play a round of Hearthstone and then check emails or Facebook.

It's really bad news in a way because it shows again how hard it is to develop for the Wii U. :/ I love Zen Pinball and wish they had all the new tables on the Wii U. Well, at least they are trying.

I'm not a big online player and I would prefer local coop. The reality however is that at the end of my grad studies and working as well. Many of my friends finished university and have a job now. The live in other towns. This would have been the perfect game to talk and play since these kind of games usually are from my experience. So as much as I think it still looks great, it destroyed the purpose it had for me completely. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only Nintendo-Fan over 25. There will be others like me with this problem.

Even though this is a Nintendo site I'm shocked all over again how many awful fanboys there are here. There is no reason to defend this and to say it dosen't need it, it's a small developer or whatever. This game is meant to be coop and video games are not just played by 8 year olds anymore. And not everybody is single and has no life! The only way for me to play this with friends if I can call them up to have some online co-op in the evening. I can't have them drive through town (if they live there cause most don't!) and sit on my couch all night.
It's nice if people will still play it, but me and my friend now won't be able to...so that's Hyrule Warriors for me.

Zelda, Samus and Fox look amazing. Pit, too. Since I have all kinds of smaller Zelda stuff I'll probably opt for Fox since it's sooooo much harder to get something from that franchise.

Coming back home to Germany in September. If they announce it for Europe as well I guess I can wait to play it for 3 more months.

If you don't have Earthbound yet and you don't buy it for this price....you're craaaaaaazzzzzyyyy! ^^

Splatoon looked fun, glad Yoshi looks much better than 18 months ago and the Kirby Artstyle is beautiful. Zelda was almost disappointing since they didn't really show anything "real". But the Star Fox announcement got me excited the most.

The comparisons with street fighter everybody makes are a bit weird. It's not a combo...Even if they are not in the manual combos are meant to be found. I'm very very very sure Nintendo didn't plan on people online to hop around like maniacs.

It's obviously a glitch and not meant to be in an advantage an therefor an exploit. Not really hard math to get to that conclusion. Therefor it should be patched. It might be small but here's nintendo's turn to prove how serious they are about of all of this. If they patch this I'm completely confident for the stuff to come in the future (such as Smash).

Good job, Nintendo! Really awesome. I hope this will convince more old Smash players to get a WiiU.

@Zombie_Barioth Yes I do believe that. The way the character model is framed you are meant to see exactly that one element of her. You can make yourself believe that you saw the picture and only after you read the comments realised "Oh yes, they are quite big and quite emphasised", but the developers made sure that that isn't true.
Trust me, I'm usually the last person to complain about these kind of things, but one of LoZs qualities is that it is better than this. It doesn't need it! It's a clichée element of Japanese game art that the series can proudly say it doesn't use...or maybe not anymore.

The racism argument is the biggest BS I heard about Nintendo in a while. Sure, they have a general problem with that and the fact that you can only be white in Animal Crossing is just embarrassing....but MK is based on their old characters and there are not even that many human characters anyway. The worst you could say is that Mario is an Italian stereotype but the Italians even dress up as Mario & Luigi when they go to soccer matches!!!

The battle mode thing however is obvious. You guys here at Nintendolofe are the only ones not bothered by this. Battle mode SHOULD be an FPS on wheels...that's why it's so fun.

I'm still very happy with Cave Story (God, the game was worth the wait!) but of course Kirby is a must.

@Wolfgabe No ones cares about the ganepad! It's just shoving money into a dead idea. Its like saying "we have to put more money into showing people how great 3D is!" It didn't work and you have to try to find other angles to convince people rather than beating a dead horse.
Also people have to stop doing that Sony comparsion. It's not the gaming buisness that loses them money!

@tzarivan Sony as a company is on the downhill and I'm pretty sure they talk about it at Sony every day. Their gaming department in fact is one of the only things making them money right now!

I'm a big Nintendo fan. I'm not one of the people who thinks the games are not grown up enough or who thinks they should make mobile games...but it's just stunning how fanboyish blinded so many people still are.
Nintendo is doing one terrible decision after the next and they are losing sooo much money but ignoring everything that is happening around them. It has become comedic at this point where every average person could do better decisions than the management of the company. The 3DS is doing well IN SPITE of their decisions, not because of them.
And the stupid argument "they have more money in the bank than anyone else" just doesn't work. They won't spend that on video games until one day it runs out. Nintendo has only been making video games for a small part of their history and you'll see them running into a different direction rather than getting back in the fight with Sony and Microsoft...at least as long as the company is run by the people who are running it right now.
And I also think we have finally reached a point where their image is beyond repair to the so called gamers. It's just baffling to me how the run after all those people who are not interested in their product while abandoning all the customers they already had.
Nintendo needs to wake up very very soon if they want to get back in the game (pun intended). Otherwise the millions in their bank won't save them.

Very good advice in this guide. I hated the demo because I thought the automatic controls was boring and I didn't get the manual controls. Now I get them and the game is super addicting.

First time i hear about Cosmochoria. It looks really nice. Too bad Cult County won't make it.

It makes no sense and I can't think of any excuse Nintendo could have for this. If the European version has all languages why not just do the same thing in NA? And I don't count "the French and Spanish are different here" because I'm pretty sure those people would have rather something than nothing. I know it's just a small amount of people who will have a problem with this but it just annoys me how often I have to read about Nintendo making decision for the customer.

I backed Cult Country. Doesn't look too good right now which is sad since Renegade Kid are awesome. Earthlock also seems cool, I'd definitely back the Hamster if Wii U would be part of the normal goal but they'll never reach that stretchgoal.

I loved that did some really brave stuff on the DS, when most played it safe. Already backed.

Mario Pinball is exactely that kind of game that is more fitting to 3DS than Wii U. Still think this is all really werid.

It sounds like it's not Metroid. I really think it's Zelda this time (there were rumors before Nintendo decided to make the last one Motion controlled). If so I'm more than excited.
