Re: Nintendo Video Application Live in Europe Right Now

Monsti

@Pandalicious: Especially, since I bet you that you guys will get way cooler stuff. Cause localizing with Nintendo often means "Well, Americans like cool stuff...so let's give THEM cool stuff."

But I'm glad we got it. Just hope there will be content.

Re: Review: QIX (Game Boy)

Monsti

Hmmm....my cousin had this one and it was fun but bored me rather quick...the review makes me think about giving it another try.

Re: Nintendo has no Desire to be Number One in Online Gaming

Monsti

Well yeah, if the system has a browser the online is obviously important. _
No seriously: They're doing all this markting about third parties and wanting the gamers to be happy with the new system etc.
Eighter do an online system at least as good as the other ones or leave the gamers out of this....they won't come back.

Re: Japanese Hardware / Software Sales Show the 3DS Needs a Boost

Monsti

I didn't have any problem with the lineup and pilotwings and ridge racer and of course all the (still underrated) build in stuff kept me going...but still. The Software reviews aren't great and the missing eshop and dsi transfer etc. is ridiculous.
I hope this helped Nintendo to arrive in the real world.

Re: Review: Steel Diver (3DS)

Monsti

Ahhh....a bit disappointed. I hoped it would get a 7 or 8 anyway. But it still sounds fun. I still had a 10€ Coupon at the shop I ordered it (it'll arrive tomorrow) so I think I'll be okay. ^^

Re: Rumour: Wii Successor Won't Have a Traditional Hard Drive

Monsti

If this is true, then Nintendo still dosn't understand the whole third party issue. If they want third party games to be succesful they need the "hardcore gamers" (yes, I hate the term too). And they won't come unless the cross platform games come to the Nintendo console. Not some other thing (like Dead Space extraction).
And that just won't be possible without a hard drive.
I'm really afraid it ends up being the same story over again...A few good first party games and loooooots of crap.

Re: Nintendo Reinforcing Western Development for Wii's Successor

Monsti

I don't know....I'm really not a call of duty player or would concider myself "hardcore" or anything, but it just sounds like Nintendo is really as out of touch with the current generation of gamers as many people say. I like their stuff (except the fact that they often force me to use motion controls) but all these quotes sound like the 40 year old dad who's been told he's not cool anymore and now he goes on websites to find out how them young kids talk. "You know what I means, dowg. Lol"

Re: Relax, the Vitality Sensor is Still in Development

Monsti

"Here are all the games you want on the 3DS, here's a new consoles that does all kinds of stuff and is very powerful and HD and all, and here is the new Zelda...it's finished.......ah yes, and here's the vitality sensor, a peripharal for a dead console...something the other consoles have been using for a year now."

Will be an amazing reveal. ^^

Re: Rumour: Wii 2 has Blu-ray Drive, Controller Contains a Screen

Monsti

It dosen't make sense to me that it's only comparable with the Xbox and PS3 and not better. We all know Nintendo wants the 3rd party support back and they won't get that if Sony and Microsoft have their next consoles out 1-2 years later. But the rest sound 100% Nintendolike. But please bring more buttons back....I don't want to shake my controller anymore....not even in DK returns!!!!

@Scarkaiser: I would completely agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that Nintendo misses out on so much 3rd party stuff because of the specs.

Re: Review: Virtual Boy Wario Land (Virtual Boy)

Monsti

I think Nintendo is aware that this is pretty much the only thing about the VB people actually really like. I can imagine them making e new version for 3DS-Ware but (which would be awesome) but on the other hand we all know how Nintendo loves to pretend the VB never happened.

Re: Talking Point: To 3D or Not to 3D?

Monsti

I checked out the thing Friday and was really really surprised how well I took the 3D. My eyes start hurting after a few seconds at the cinema but here I played for 15 minutes with the slider up to the max and really enjoyed it.

Re: Mario Kart Without Items Isn't Mario Kart, That Includes the Blue Shell

Monsti

I just don't understand the problem with giving you the option of switching stuff off. Or at least including a "pro mode" with only the basic Mario Kart Items....I would be fine with go through 3 menus to get to that mode and then accepting 3 screens that warn me it is only for experienced players.....But why is it so hard to give longtime players the chance to player in a more elaborate way???
