Re: Guide: What To Do If Cloud Saves On Nintendo Switch Online Aren't Working As They Should

Moneyjaypr7

@TuragaNuva no the Wii U didn’t support being able to transfer your saves from one Wii U to another. The external hard drives connected only worked with that system. I tried a system transfer from one Wii u to another but it failed. So I sent it all to Nintendo and they couldn’t do anything about it. Basically had all my saves stuck on the Wii U with a broken disc drive

@DarthFoxMcCloud
I would agree with you if I didn’t suffer with my Wii U. I couldn’t back up saves and the disc drive just stopped working. I take care of all my stuff and this was the first time a console I owned didn’t work. Nintendo couldn’t transfer my saves from one Wii U to another when I sent it to them and I was stuck with saves on a Wii U that didn’t have a drive that worked. It was also gonna cost me $125 to fix it at a time where switch was on the horizon. Electronics break sometimes regardless of how well you take care of them so for someone scared to loose a save is very legit. I have a friend with 850hrs plus on Splatoon 2 and of his switch goes than he’s screwed.

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Confirms He's Working On Super Smash Bros. Switch

I think it just might be a new game. 4 years since the last release and no gameplay on it is a good indication. Every port has shown gameplay when it was announced. Yeah dlc came out but as we all know, dlc isn’t worked on by the whole team. Once that game ships, it’s on to the next one while some stay behind to do updates n dlc.

Re: Video: Performance Over Resolution - Digital Foundry Tackles Super Mario Odyssey

Moneyjaypr7

@Snakesglowcaps I don't think he's trolling.

@Yasaal Now this can't be confirmed because I'm not developing the game but they aren't underscaling the game because they want too. There vision was 60fps and as of right now during development, 720p docked is the only way they can hit 60fps. They still have 4 months to iron out all the problems but in the end there goal is 60fps first. Performance over resolution. Some people hate this while others rather have this. Nothing wrong with either just keep in mind that it seems the developer is going for performance over resolution.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Yeah great game but has nothing to do with this whole topic we have been talking about. Look I don't think theres anything wrong with you not wanting a Switch. Thats your decision and maybe its not for you. But your delusions of Wii U having a better year one is just crazy dude. You could argue Wii U had some better games than Switch's year one games that came out so far this year. But theres no way you could ever say that the whole year 1 of Wii U is better. The system, failed for many reasons and a big reason was a very very horrible start. No games. And that trend continued for a long time. On day one yeah Wii U had way more titles than Switch. But man by November this year which will be only 8 months the Switch will be on the market, Switch will be blowing away Wii U on titles. Also Zelda is a system seller regardless it coming out on both systems day one. It sold better on Switch that had way less consoles on the market than wii u. Thats a system seller my friend especially since it was the most quality launch title. Are you telling me people bought switch's for 1/2 switch, super bomber man, just dance, or skylanders? No they bought the switch for Zelda which = system seller

Re: Nintendo Infographic Outlines Switch and 3DS Games for 2017

@SLIGEACH_EIRE but I'd also add the switch has only been on the market for 3 months dude. We're Wii U didn't have a killer game until super Mario 3D world. Pikmin 3 and wonderful 101 were not killer games n definitely not system sellers. Matter fact Wii U didn't have a system selling game (and even that couldn't sell them) until Mario Kart 8.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE

~ Pikmin 3 was delayed but when it finally released was excellent
~ Super Mario 3D World was great
~ The Wonderful 101 was okay
~ Rayman Legends was great however delayed due to Wii U not selling well. Went from exclusive to multi platform
~ Lego City Undercover great
~ Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate didn't play it
~ Wii Fit U really????
~ Deus Ex: Human Revolution — Director's Cut great port but $20 more than the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions released on the same day
~ NES Remix awesome
~ Sonic Lost World was okay

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Hey your right about ports coming to Switch late. However, your in some serious denial if you think Wii U's first year is better than Switch. Wii U's first year was absolutely horrible. Most of the games you listed were Day 1 and after that, it was a long and boring time waiting for the next title. I don't know how you can even compare the two when for Switch I have had a game to buy every month. And I'm only talking about retail. The indie scene on Switch has also been awesome

Re: Nintendo Infographic Outlines Switch and 3DS Games for 2017

Moneyjaypr7

@IceClimbers @SLIGEACH_EIR No matter how you look at it, 1st year of Switch definitely has better games than 1st year of Wii U. Wii U had a lot of garbage and ports. Mass effect 3, batman Arkham city, assassins creed 3, deus ex, darksiders 2 are all ports sold way after release on other systems (at $60 too) and not to mention the very long months of emptiness waiting for the next title. Hasn't been a month yet and won't be all the way up to November that Switch won't have one retail release. I loved my Wii U but it was very hard to defend it with those boring months of waiting for the next retail game. Can't say the same for Switch regardless if the next game is for you or not.

Re: Nintendo Switch Teardown Suggests Production Cost Is Around $260 Per Unit

Moneyjaypr7

I'm happy with my purchase of the switch. I can't ever hate on Nintendo for trying to make money off of the switch. It's smart business. The whole it needs to be cheaper to appeal to me is fine. I understand people with the price. Just can't stand the people who just complain about Nintendo making money off of the device. Makes no sense, of course they need too. The accessories are still pricey though.
