@SLIGEACH_EIRE it shouldn't be compared to TTYD. Yes it's part of the same series but they've taken a TOTALLY different direction with the gameplay and they're sticking to it. You shouldn't compare an adventure game to an RPG. I do agree with you about the characters however, and I feel that's something they need to work on.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE And why doesn't colour splash deserve higher? Its an incredibly fun game which improves on sticker star in so many ways. Even though it isn't an RPG, we have to accept that that isn't paper mario any more. For the game that it is trying to be, it's excellent.

How do Pokémon battles run in 3D on the old model? I've found that in ORAS and XY it was quite laggy in 3D. Is this the same?

This game looks better and better every time I see it. Meanwhile, the narration gets worse and worse every time I hear it.

Is good and there seems to be at least some form of plot.

It genuinely looks good, but I'm still cautious. I just hope the plot has some effort put into it, and it isn't just "go kill bowser"

My interest in this game is certainly increasing, and I'm definitely willing to give this game a chance. I'm just hoping that there is some form of story beyond "bowsers draining the toads of colour. Defeat him!"

My only issue is that I've heard it's quite episodic. Is this true? It's not putting me off the game or anything, I just kinda prefer continuous stories as opposed to a new little one every island.
