@WallyWest all great points and I can't disagree at all. I guess I was just saying for people like me who want a portable option (where I have good wifi) along with playing on the big screen (using Samsung dex). While I agree you can't play anywhere, I can at least play portably in my house which there hasn't been another AAA option today besides switch. As an older gamer the Nintendo 1st party line up has been somewhat lost on me other than Zelda and (hopefully) Metroid, but I definitely get it's family appeal.
@Agramonte Yup xcloud works 100% perfect for me and been playing Ori WooW last couple weeks. In my opinion this service is already better than switch and will be it's biggest competitor once mainstream.
Another example of paying more for everything on this switch. When cloud gaming catches up which is sooner than you think, people will flock to other portable options that don't overcharge for old games.
I am over paying full price for 10+ year old ports. Between this and pixel art, I'm glad emulators are getting better. Happy to purchase new games though if we ever get any.
@SachmoJoe It's more rpg based than hollow knight. I'd compare it more with bloodstained or any igavania with character progression and weapon upgrades. This is not a bad thing at all.
Bought this two weeks ago and have beaten it 3x now. In my top 3 switch games with Hollow Knight and BOTW. It's def still buggy at times but the game is so f'ing great, I didn't care that much. If anyone is on the fence or still waiting, do yourself a favor and play it now.
Definitely not a roguelike at least from my understanding of the word. I will agree with 6/10, though. I love metroidvanias but this one was a struggle to remain interested.
I bought this game and didn't love it. Lost interest a few hours in, bought Bloodstained, and can't stop playing it. With that said, I'd never review bomb a game as this was just my opinion and I've heard others liked it. Reviews should be left to the professionals who have a wider scope of reference.
Been waiting for this and hoping for a sale now that they've patched it. Just 100%'d Ori which was a wonderful experience so now looking for the next one.
Rented this recently on gamefly. The only thing that bothered me was the Input lag. The game felt extremely heavy. My favorite games of all time are super metroid and castlevania sotn (also hollow knight). Got into about 2 hours of this game and it's definitely a future purchase. $40 is too high though. Ori was released today for $20 and a day one purchase for me. Bloodstained should be priced closer to this and I'd buy.
Nintendo has enough cash to buy Panic. Why not do that and have them port all 3rd party games? We might have rdr2 by now let alone a good bloodstained.
Still blows my mind to see how low some of these classic Nintendo systems sold especially compared to Sony. When I was growing up I felt like everyone had an NES/SNES/64. I guess it was the gameboy line that they really banked on. Glad to see the Switch is having success as the industry needs Nintendo at the top of their game.

Re: WayForward's New Switch Game Is Bakugan Champions Of Vestroia, Coming In November
Cool add it to the list of children games and/or jrpgs I don't want to play in 2020.

Re: Feature: Every Nintendo Switch Online SNES Game Ranked
Super Metroid is the best game of all time. Also I'm convinced Nintendo is remastering DKC trilogy for the Switch. Only reason why it's missing here.

Re: Journey To The Savage Planet Makes A Surprise Landing On The Switch eShop
Great game. Been playing on xcloud free but may pick up for switch too.
Re: 3DS Sales See 73% Year-On-Year Decline, No Future Sales Forecast Provided
I'd buy a switch port of both Metroid and Zelda 3ds titles immediately
Re: Modder Shrinks The N64 Down To The Size Of A Game Boy Advance SP
Cool but any newer android phone is a top notch emulator for n64 and even gamecube psp and 3ds.

This is the best mv game I've played since bloodstained. Very enjoyable and highly recommend.

Re: It Looks Like Journey To The Savage Planet Might Be Released On Nintendo Switch
@TheAwesomeBowser even more ironic is that it just got released free on Microsoft xcloud beta. Google must not have any rights to this game.

Cool, when my phone ever gets the 10 update. Would also be cool to have this mapped on the nvidia shield but it's still on 8

I have owned the switch for 10 months now, and this will be my first prepurchase. Feels good to be this excited for a game.
