The Monkey Ball series really fizzled off after the GC games. Own all the GC versions, love them to death. Blitz was mediocre... @pixelman: If you like a fun little arcade game, with a bunch of nice minigames to boot, you'll love the Monkey Ball games. (Well the GC ones anyway. I'm really not surprised that it's not what it used to be; after all, it's a SEGA franchise. They've lost their touch since soon after the death of Dreamcast. ) But, like with Project Needlemouse, I'm hoping this turns out great.
One of the best games of all time has been turned into a disaster. The controls were awkward and lagged horribly, the characters moved like fat lards, and the graphics were sh*t. (Though I should cut it some slack in the graphics department, considering that it was one of the first DS titles out there; this game's nowhere near as ugly as Pokémon Dash.)
@Corbie: There was a Dreamcast version?! I'll be getting that then. I need more games for my DC. @MetalMario: There was an N64 version?! Then I'd like to see it on VC. @romulo: There was a PS2 version?! I'll be getting that too, when I get a PS3. (Unless the PS3 doesn't have backwards compatablity.) @Joe Diddley: I agree with you wholeheartedly, SM64DS was a disaster because the controls were crappy. Yoshi moved like a fat lard. About Rayman DS. I hated it even when it was released.
I figured something was going on when I got that "Power Up" image last night. Awesome work Ant, the site got slow when I had more than one window loading at the same time.
Will definitely pick this up when it hits the US. (Yes, WHEN it comes to the US. I'm pretty sure it will once Classic Controller sales start slumping.)
They can, megaman-sam. The Internet Channel is pretty damn useful, and while the Everybody Votes Channel and things of that nature aren't useful, they're nice little time-wasters.
^Of course he will. Asses like him really have nothing better to do anyway. And thanks for your suggestion. If someone doesn't report him, it'll turn into a flamewar that no one wants to read.
The tagline for the review made me lol. Anyway, why the hell is it a popular title? Because so many people waste their "lives" playing poker on the Wii when they could just play it with actual cards? Jeez.
Only three games today, but as long as they're good, I'm not complaining.
@KeroKeroCola: Either you have insanely high standards for video games, you haven't seen your psychiatrist in a while, or you just need to get a life and leave. What, are you an XBOX 360/PS3 fanboy?
EDIT: @KnucklesSonic8: You really should try Dig Dug 2. I used to have it on my Namco Museum Battle Collection. Until I sold my PSP.
ANOTHER EDIT: @Mach-X: I agree with you. That gets so annoying.
I don't think a SSB DS would work. It's mainly a multiplayer series, and with the current SSB games, others can just drop in at your house, pick up a controller, and play. (And with Brawl, you can play over Wifi, no one has to drop in at your house!) It would be more of a hassle to use local multiplayer on SSB DS. Of course we have Wifi, but those who lack Wifi (like myself) depend on local multiplayer. Which sucks very very badly.
And Jacob is strong to put up a petition, but he could at least make an animation with it.

No SSB or SMK? Damn, I was expecting one of them to come today. But hey, can't complain about Contra ReBirth or Super Return of the Jedi.
